It’s interesting the comments that say they don’t like it simply say that.

The comments that say they do then go out of their way to complain about those that don’t like it. The shirt itself has been divisive - why do its defenders need to be too? Both on here and on social media.

Hopefully you'll soon have read more than a Abu Hamza handful of comments.

I saw something on social media from HullCitykits museum? last night, in answer to a post from someone asking why the club badge/crest has been binned. They said no-one complained in 1975?
I was around in 1975 and to me the kit reminds me of the Billy Bremner season and Billy Bremner wearing that kit. Not a particular good time for City because the club were on the decline from then on wards, ( and before) which finished up with the appointment of Mike Smith at the end of the decade and Receivership. I just don't see any valid reason why the club badge should be left off the shirt, does anyone know why it is?

People need to stop living in the past. We aren't going back to the previous one. I don't know why so many are so desperate for it just because of the association with a particular period of the club.

I just don't think the previous one was that good. It certainly doesn't feel like a modern design any more and I much prefer the shield we have now.

A retro design with a retro logo that harks back to a period that saw the club relegated to the then Div 3 is hardly a positive image.

I don't know what I want as a first team shirt, but I know what I don't want.

Yeah, proper badge on it would make it much better. Even a sponsor probably improves it
