That land round Tickton is very wet.
That land round Tickton is very wet.
The River Hull is very wet and Figham Pastures, the River Hull flood plain does get wet in winter. The rest of the land around Tickton is well drained and hasn't flooded in living memory. Hull flooded in 2007, Tickton didn't.

I know 100% that I am fighting a losing battle supporting the DJ on this forum where the average age here is probably about 60 and I’m 30 years below that.

As I said, different strokes for different folks.

I think it’s obvious that those who are a bit younger enjoy the DJ and those who are older do not.
I'm 47 and think he is rubbish. Not sure if I am in the oldies or the younger gang but I also stay away from the seating until he has finished because it is dire.

Why cant we have a brass band?

Not my cup of tea but he's a massive City fan doing something he loves at City games so I don't want to be too harsh on the lad.
He maybe is a 'massive City fan doing something he loves at City games' But there another 19,999 other people there. Maybe his DJ set is great, he obviously thinks so, but surely he is there to build up the pre- match atmosphere, not entertain himself? Nothing against the lad at all, but we are Premier League now and if the club are serious about improving the match day atmosphere I think we need to move up a couple of notches with the pre match stuff.
