I was actually messing about with a new design, in testing, and accidentally deleted the old design. Now I've gotta bloody release this one before it's finished.
 
I was intending to modify the design so that every forum had it's own image up in there in replace of the grass, so for instance Newcastle would have a Barton,Nolan etc in the background.

I think it looks canny so far anyway, was more commenting on the red text on a white background <ok>!
As for the forum's own image if you can't be arsed to do it yourself, could run a little competition - winner gets their design on the top of their team's board - sure there's plenty of willing/budding graphic designers knocking about who'd do it!
 
Could you put the option to view it as it used to be? That was nice and discrete (for work time browsing), this is much less so!:emoticon-0107-sweat
 
I love the grass background. But yeah, the red text might not go down too well on this board lol.
