I’d argue the premier league continues to get stronger as the gap between the teams there and in the championship continues to widen. The gap between the top (elite) premier league clubs and the rest of us in there is closing.

The strength of next seasons Premier League cannot be determined before it has began.
World class players will be introduced and some will say their goodbyes.
Young players will become household names as they match their aspirations.
Unfashionable clubs will have their days and embarrassing defeats.
Another season of cherished memories, whatever happens.
We have nothing to lose, the pundits got it wrong last season and they will get it wrong next.
In the previous promotion eras we had owners who could only exploit the financial benefits of the PL and now we have an owner who will exploit the exposure and competition.
If there is one aspect of Acuns ownership that I really admire, it is his marketing skill.
A young kid runs out of a shop and Acun sees more than an excited new supporter, he sees the opportunity.
Paul Duffen sort of, had it, but he had a narrow vision.

I doubt anything will change next season in the Premier League. There will be the usual suspects fighting it out for glory and European football. The mid table sides will all be dangerous but will sit comfortably hoping to have a good cup run whilst the rest will always be looking over their shoulders. The relegation battle usually involves 2 promoted clubs and one surprise package.

I watched the last 20 mins of the 66 world cup final yesterday. I didn't realise the pitch had cut up so badly. The ball was bobbling and never ran true. Was it raining on the day?
Not sure, but it rained in Hull, just at a couple of showers though.

There had been some sharp showers in the morning but I can't remember any rain during the match.
My Palace mate is convinced the fire sale of players will continue and, with plans to spend that money on the stadium, they're due for the drop.
