The pl is objectively the weakest it's been in a while with the amount of managerial turnover amongst the top clubs. Probably the most disruption since Leicester won the league.
So name the small handful of existing PL teams that are really going to struggle at the bottom end this year?
I can't see any obvious candidates. Not one.

West Ham would have been one had they scraped survival; unfortunately for us they didn't. Spurs will get back on track, little to no doubt.

The gulf is absolutely massive, as big as it's ever been. We'll have to somehow do better than Coventry and Ipswich and hope that there's at least 1 other existing PL club that for some reason struggles.

Bellingham certainly helped them, but we're not going to spend wildly less than them. Might have to settle for not qualifying for Europe.

No idea how infrastructure spend is going to get considered under SCR.
i think one big advantage we have over burnley is
we dont have commitments to buy a lot of champ players like they did

Funny statement from Acun regarding McBurnie transfer, I assume the friend is Lundstram?

“We brought his friends to the team in order to bring him to the team. That kind of passion and dedication makes us different.”

Palace, Fulham, Sunderland, Bournemouth. Is that enough?

Spurs have finished 17th in back to back seasons too. No doubt at all? Behave.

TWT but I doubt it. It won't take much for them to add a little extra depth and quality to what they already have, and I'm sure they will.
OK you can doubt it but you asked for clubs and I gave you them.

It's not about adding a bit of quality. Fulham are losing Silva and Wilson so need to replace the manager that turned them from a yo yo to established and their most creative player. Sunderland need to go again and deal with Europe. Palace also need to transition manager, remembering they were almost nailed on to go down before Glasner came in. Hell, I didn't even mention Leeds.

It's as open as its been for a while.

Does that guarantee we stay up? Of course not.

weakest at the top, but the average strength at the lower end is getting stronger each year as the teams who've been there a few years get richer and stronger each season

Perhaps. Must be why two established pl clubs went down last year.
I know....but only 2 of the last 9 to go down...last year west ham went down with most points in over a decade....we don't know what we don't know, no one knows who'll leave which teams and who'll join....like last year Bournemouth were a big tip to go down losing so many players and got to Europe but on the flip side wolves capitulated, no one can accurately predict who'll be where but it is factually accurate to say that 11-17 are getting wealthier year on year which has increased the collective buying power across the league

Its obvious Hull has to sell players first (by end of June) to avoid embargo again..
Once that happens, new signings will happen..not before
Acun confirmed last night they have to make some money by selling players now,,stating its not to easy but shouldn't be to diffucult

Of course that's why it's all speculation. As I said, nothing guarantees our survival, it's all about probability.

There is no risk of an embargo.

To be fair that’s a very good point. The only team that are ****e by premier league standards and you would expect to struggle are Leeds. They have a great manager though and he seems to get a tune out of a limited squad. That very limited squad is already much more capable than ours. We have a lot of work to do if we have genuine ambitions of staying up. If we managed it properly though I wouldn’t mind “doing a Burnley”. They piss the champ every time they go back down. The hard part is bridging the gap between being a yo-yo team like Burnley, and being a major player like Brighton, Bournemouth etc.
