Ive a feeling he’ll tell them to **** off, The mighty tigers or no ****ing where….
I'm pretty sure both Clubs will come to some sort of agreement that suits both parties and the player. It makes no sense for them to hike his price and risk having to loan him out again.

They seem quite happy to let him go and get him off the books wage-wise and it would be foolish for them to stand in his way by starting a bidding war.We then find out next season if he was worth taking a punt on...

Europa League,so yes, they'll lift decent money from that and I would imagine some but not all of that will filter back to Rohl. One big signing would likely wipe it out though.

This young 18 year old lad on loan from Spurs(Mikey Moore) has become a bit of a terrace favourite, wants to come back this season and Tottenhams survival has paved the way for his return.I have heard Rangers are serious about him long term but they'd probably need 2 years earnings from Europe to secure his signature...

There were a lot of rumours that Mikey Moore was going to head our way last summer.

I wonder if Spurs would want a PL club for him this year?

Nothing is impossible but as far as I know Tottenham and Rangers had discussions late last season about sending him up again but it all hinged on their survival. As they did eventually survive and they were recalling him to play in the Championship if they didn't,I'm assuming he's coming back up here...

He's a very decent player and his game has came on big time at Ibrox. It's toughened him up and brought out his confidence, maturity and flair being at Rangers and he has spoken of his affection for Rangers(a bit like the Gelhardt situation with us).

I see him back here but he's a serious player and if Tottenham see him as a player ready for Premier League football then he'd probably be a perfect fit with us.

Acun:
“ I really believe in our recruitment team. I really believe in Jared (Dublin, sporting director), and the eyes that brought us Charlie Hughes, (Mo) Belloumi, and these young talents and players. Now with the bigger budgets we will spend, of course, good money, but not on names, but on the potential and productive players.

You need NAMES-players who played in Prem before OR are already internationally acknowledged, in order to stay up.
Buying potential players to make money is good business, but not recipe to survive

My 2cents.

Heard of him but not seen him Ric. Is he looking like he could play for England in the next few seasons?

The Europa league is worth **** all is it? Unless it’s had big money pumped in since we should have been in it (daily reminder than Steve Bruce is a ****).
Yeah it's not worth a great deal - lifted from a recent BBC article....given that Rangers are **** and unlikely to make the latter stages chances are it'll be worth 8-10m.....big in comparison to the SPL but nothing on prem money

For reaching the league phase of the Europa League, Villa were given 4.31m euros (£3.7m). They won seven of their eight matches in that round, earning 3.15m euros (£2.7m). They were given 600k euros (£520k) for a top-eight finish and a further 2.625m euros (£2.3m) for finishing second in the table.

Villa earned 1.75m euros (£1.5m) for reaching the last 16, 2.5m euros (£2.2m) for getting to the quarter-finals and an additional 4.2m euros (£3.6m) for getting into the semi-finals.

For beating Freiburg in the final in Istanbul, Villa received 13m euros (£11.3m).

Joffy loves it here because his mates Hughes and Joseph are here, I assume Koumas is the same as they’re all from the same area

Do we keep some of the not so good ones to keep everyone happy?

It would be a payment to the player, not their parent club, so it couldn't be considered a loan fee and wouldn't be an issue.
If they are PAYE at their club, in this case Liverpool, it would have to go through the club wouldn't it? I dont think a Loan player can be given bonus payments outside of any deal agreed between the two clubs. Although with Acun I would not be surprised to see a speedboat anchored in Liverpool docks.

I suppose if Koumas had a limited company Acun could pay him via that.

£3-5 million was mentioned earlier in the season. I think £5-8 million is still reasonable. Anything higher than that and I think Leeds are taking the piss. We want him, he wants to be here so all parties should come to a reasonable agreement.
He is not worth anything near 5 million. I hope we stay well away at that price.
