Wes Streeting will go for it tomorrow morning.

Leadership election will be triggered soon.

But who will the left of the party put forward without Andy Burnham and who will they suppprt ?
I was wrong on Monday.

Streeting will go for it on Thursday. Probably delayed it out of respect for the King.

This morning’s 17 minute meeting with Starmer was obviously a last ditch attempt to get Starmer to go voluntarily, which he refused to do.

General election anyone ?

Reform/Tory coalition with Nigel as PM <cheers><cracker><bubbly><ale>

Starmer clearly told Streeting to f*** off.

Starmer will hear those words soon.

General Election? Yes. The right option if Starmer is ousted.
Especially if he is dragged out rather than choosing to step down.

Sadly it won't happen.
Once again we'll be looking at several years under a PM (or maybe more than one) who the British People never voted into that office.
So much for 'Change'.

Now it seems a Labour MP is simply going to quit his seat so Andy Burnham can contest a by-election.

I'm getting so sick of this Labour leadership circus, I hope the other Parties co-ordinate efforts to make sure Labour loses that by-election.
Should not be difficult at the moment.
Hard working tax payers being used as pawns in a political game, asked to vote for a man just so he can challenge the Prime Minister.
Labour voters should give this lame idea the middle finger.

Absolutely. It stinks. Burnham wanted to be Mayor, so that’s the job he should get on with.

And as you say, a concerted effort by the other parties should scupper him.

Only a 5,399 majority over Reform in 2nd with a 52% turnout and an electorate of 76,641 when Labour were riding high and Reform had only just got going.

I can see this backfiring spectacularly. Bring it on.

Burnbum is a clone of Starmer, another dour robotic c***.

After the shocking passing of Henry Nowak, Starmer has shown his colours bearing in mind all that he got upto after the death of George Floyd.

Starmer is a disgrace, nothing more and nothing less.

It’s not just him. Plenty that were acting with pure, cold, rage after George Floyd are eerily quiet now. In fact they are up in faux arms at anyone who acts as they themselves did back then. What’s different I wonder ?

Glad that Zia Yusuf put Cathy ‘hypocrite’ Newman in her place on Sky News.

Of course the reverse is also true.
What did Nigel Farage have to say about the killing of George Floyd at the time?

If he said anything at all, I would be fairly sure it was not a call to arms. Or condemnation of the Police officers involved.

Well answer your own question - what did he say ?

Do you have any evidence of Farage making comment on the George Floyd killing in May 2020 ?

Or is that just another poor attempt to divert attention away from the failures of Starmer and the entire woke left movement in this country.

D minus.

I did an internet search.
Could find no evidence that he said anything.

Why do you personalise every argument with me?
I'm starting to seriously resent it.

Not personal at all. I heap praise on you when it’s (often) due. But would question anyone who posts something extremely negative about someone else with no evidence to support it.

Surely that’s a fair approach ?

I'm sorry Mr Farage. Like all woke lefties I have attacked your character without any justification.

You're a great bloke and you'll make a great Prime Minister.
I promise I'll never insult you or say anything negative about you ever again.
And here's me of the opinion that Farage is a grifting gobshite, hey ho. :emoticon-0138-think
