Yep several clubs will buy a World Cup star who then proves to be a donkey at their club . The World Cup can be live YouTube LOL
Diego Forman springs to mind although about 5 years later he came very good .

Saw an X account link us with Argentinian midfielder Ignacio Perruzzi. He’s 21-years-old and plays for San Lorenzo in the Argentine first tier.

Apparently, in his Turkish interview, Acun said he wants to keep 80% of the existing squad as a reward for getting us up.

Wants to add eight players and is targeting South America where he sees better value.

Would like Delap, but thinks Chelsea will make it difficult.

I guess this would retain more funds to add quality players, but time will tell whether it is a good plan. I guess it gives the potential that some players might make the step up, whether expected or not. Big Dave? :)

I'm assuming the 20% doesn't include loans.

Hoping it's a load of bollocks, McBurnie, Giles, Mo, Slater, Crooks, Hughes, Pandur probably good enough and not all in the starting 11.

Yeah, it doesn't sound like a good plan to stay up. Not sure if Dublin will support it, but it would be "nice". **** the Premier League. Just don't spunk all the money with this plan anyway maybe.

Pretty safe to say we will be signing more than 8 players. We signed more than that last season in the championship under a transfer ban when we already had a pretty decent squad for the level.

I would like to see most the squad stay together though and target really good signings for key positions rather than just loads of players everywhere. Think we will be looking to take Lundstram on a permanent too as soon as the window opens, think he can definitely do a job for us too.
