I think Yu would be a good and reletively cheap back up for the first 11. We need to be really carefull we dont go Gung HO (see what i did there?) splurging on players who will be a millstone round our necks if we come back down. I see he has his limitations but equally he has had a period of injury and hasnt really proved what he is about, there are signs that he has promise. Can we say hand on heart that the other core of players who performed in the championship will develop as bona fides Premier league players? Our exposure to the far east player base will, in my opinion, be worth the reletively small expenditure if nothing else .

My theory is that the Adele song started as banter between the players and Yu..."Someone like Yuuuuu" and then caught on from there.
Not sure where it originates from though that does make sense. But it does seem to be Slater mainly and Giles that take the lead, does that mean they started it or they're just always the first ones to karaoke

I saw my 84 year old Boro supporting mate today. He said that we were very lucky, completely outplayed and that McBurnie has too much time on his hands to get covered in awful tattoos. Also he won't be playing in the Premier League next season and didn't know why he celebrated so much as the goal was from only 2 yards out.
Your mate sounds like a bit of a **** tbh.

What’s more impressive about that is how we limited all of those opponents to next-to-no-chances. The tactics were sensational for the last four games. The form side in the division, the side that had sat in automatics for 35 of the 46 matchdays and the side that was third, just missing out, and ten points ahead of us. Sergej tactically outclassed all of them.
Our record vs the top 10 in the Championship was incredible on reflection, Ipswich (1D - 1L) the only ones who we had a losing record against, out of the other 3 games we lost Boro was the only one we deserved to lose! Shoulda battered Millwall at home and unfortunate to fk it against Derby.

Maybe that bodes well for next year in a league where we're likely to concede possession in most games it'll play to our current style and suit the way we play.....HMS piss the league goes again

Cov - 2D
Millwall - 2W - 1L
Boro - 2W - 1L
Soton - 2W
Wrexham - 2W
Derby - 1W - 1L
Norwich - 2W
Brum - 1W - 1D

Also 1D against Millwall. It’s a remarkably good record against our opponents.

Was that in League 1?

The opponent does matter... i'm more likely to make the 9 hour round trip from South Wales to see us play Man City than I am to see us play Doncaster Rovers

Although, interesting to know that Leeds United at a low ebb is no better attended than us when we're bottom-half Championship
Yes
I remember about 10-15 years ago when we were both in the Championship our average attendances were almost identical at about 19k.
They had a couple of seasons around 21,000 and spent well over a decade averaging in the lower 20,000 s

& Emma Hardy has too, no idea about Karl. I imagine we all only see what happens from the ones we’re represented by?
Emma Hardy has several times,

Meanwhile the MP for East Hull went on national TV a few days before Wembley saying he couldnt give a sh!t about it, was that why the victory parade did an extended tour of his constituency, so we can gloat?

Then you may not be surprised to learn that he was a referee. The kind that would roll a free kick 10 yards forward if you looked at him funny. The kind that not only pissed off enough people to receive death threats himself, but enough for his wife to receive them as well. He's a real piece of work.
