So did it offend you both for some reason and if your club did it would you feel the same offence?
Not offended, more disgusted in it! It’s a mark of respect, Bute soured that the games were delayed. It’s just stupid in my opinion. I would not want my club to do that in the middle of a game. Cringeworthy

My god you lot are soft and bitter <laugh>
Why? Maybe we think football should be about football? You’ve spent time on here recently without admitting to supporting anyone (which I have seen). Bitterness has n
Thing to do with it. Football is about football.

Do you think Sir Alex would’ve allowed Man Utd players to give a guard of honour to an opponent in an away game who has retired? Or Busby, clough, Allardyceceven?

Every game sees masses of downtime with players feigning injury, is it takes 10 minutes to sub a player because he’s been there a while?

Sorry if its already been said, just catching up with alot of the fall out of the Premier league results. Seeing alot of anger toward Everton, "disgrace", "rolled over" etc. This is the sort of stuff that brings the game into disrepute, Everton "on the beach", and go down 1-0 to Spurs with very little effort. Absolutely stinks

We did it for Terry's last game, tbf... I think it's a bit much personally, just let the fans give him a standing ovation as he walks off the pitch. But if both teams agree to it then I'm not really bothered.

Glad West Ham have gone down now! There's a West Ham fan on SSN saying asking the lines that West Ham are a bigger club than the likes of Sunderland and Bournemouth who are now in Europe, they've gotta bigger stadium then both - they don't even OWN their own ****ing ground!
No the taxpayer does and they get it on the cheap the rent even gets halved now because they got relegated - absolutely ridiculous

Killed the club though.

I went to the Boleyn twice and it was a fantastic place, intimidating, loud. It was proper.

They lost a lot of their soul moving.

I like West Ham, they a bit like us, proper fans, proper people but they ****ed it moving to a stadium that just isn’t for football.

Nope. Why would we give a guard of honour when a player is sent off? (As Terry was in his last game)

These ones literally happened as players were subbed in the second half. Not before or after the game.

Different game I think? He defo got a guard of honour in his final game against us, when he was subbed off on 26 minutes (his shirt number). Just checked though and we weren't involved in it, just stood around on the pitch waiting while the Chelsea lot did it <laugh>
