Sadly mate just because you don't get the outcome you like, you can't suddenly say hey it's the system to blame when it works majority of the times.
I think they wanted to get rid of juries which I don't agree with, don't move the goalposts just because you ****ed the system.
Exactly, people complained during the riots how some went down for 3 year sentences, well it's their own stupid fault for pleading guilty.

He’s right to look into it but feels like it has to be case that goes viral on Twitter to get this sort of treatment. The judge’s comments on why he gave what he did were wild.Disgusting

Words fail ... didn't want to 'saddle' the 'boys' with criminality tags at such a young age
WTAF - they didn't cheat at Top Trumps ffs! ... old enough to shag, old enough to lag... they should also be named ... and their parents should also be interviewed to establish how the little scrotes grew up thinking rape, and filming it, were somehow just a bit of adolescent fun ... I'd be tempted to give the parents custodial sentences too

I'm aware of the story but not really read into it, other than look at their ages, which I believe are 13/14. I'm more caught by your comment... 'old enough to shag, old enough to lag...' my honest first thought was unless they've been abused themselves - first off defo not making excuses for them, and the judge is rightly being called out, but my mere suggestion is that behaviours are learned. Other than that one point, I agree with everything everyone else has already said.
Saw some random bod on Twitter so not reliable at all say they were gypsies which makes you think somebody may have had a polite word before sentencing.
