Fully expect the coach to be given his p45 soon.
Now Hull threatening illegal action if they lose the final against opponents known at short notice. They only had 2 to deal with man, and they've already played them twice....clowns.
He needs it, but there's got to be questions about how much the owners knew. Sports Republic are a strange bunch when you dig in about them. One suggestion was that fans vote on who to substitute and who to replace them and the manager had to go with it. It's not out of possibility that they knew about it or even endorsed it.Fully expect the coach to be given his p45 soon.
aye they reckon 10pm announcementThat’s a rumour doing the rounds now
And honestly, it has nothing to do with Hull. They get to play the winner of the other playoff which has just been determined. Plus, and this is not really relevant but helps, Boro have the same notice as Hull so the playing field is levelled for Boro too, who would otherwise have suffered unfairly due to lack of preparation time.If they don't feel it's fair to have to play Boro they can give their place to Wrexham who'd turn up at Wembley if they had to walk there ...
... Hull need to have some dignity and accept the position in good faith.
aye they reckon 10pm for manager being sackedIts confirmed they are officially out
but some of their posters are still on about legal action against the EFL

Aww just been banned from their forum![]()

Interesting to see what happens there in the next few days. The only way to save themselves and their credibility is to have a full inquest and root out the bad apples. An open and transparent one too. Appealing has imo, been a bad move, especially after admitting their guilt. All about greed. He needs it, but there's got to be questions about how much the owners knew. Sports Republic are a strange bunch when you dig in about them. To me, the longer the manager remains in place, the more I believe the owners knew what was going on.
Someone (and i dont mean the lad with the phone who has been hung out to dry) has cost Southampton the chance of a £200 million payday. If the owners didn't know what was going on, I would guess they would be pretty pissed off.
The manager is still in place.
They knew.
They could also be waiting to see legally where they stand with his contract. If they can sack him for nowt compensation then it's better for the clubTo me, the longer the manager remains in place, the more I believe the owners knew what was going on.

If they genuinely didn't know, surely they could sack him on the grounds of gross misconduct. They could also be waiting to see legally where they stand with his contract. If they can sack him for nowt compensation then it's better for the club
Now that their appeal has been rejected he should be contacting every newspaper/magazine in the country and get as much as he can for his story. He's the one I feel sorry for really. A youngun, an intern at that, been connected for a year at the club, trying to get a job and then hung out to dry .
Appalling cowardice from the coach and everyone who knew. You never, ever do that to a junior. Spineless t***s.
