Spammers players worth perusing: Diouf, because we need another left back. Fernandez because he’s young and good… and Jimmy- because he ticks the ex-player link.

I’d welcome all 3 of them. All plenty good enough.

I think the reception Jimmy got on his return probably put pay to his return, he was obviously bemused and looked pretty upset by it

Yeh I agree. Going back rarely works anyway and football fans are rarely forgiving of ‘rats’ even if it’s the club that pushed the deal.

I think Jimmy is the right kind of player but wrong kind of personality for the team that DF has built. He’s his own man but not a team player. Quality player though and a good signing for someone if the price is right.

What is the obsession of Leeds fans wanting to resign ex-players? Let’s leave the past alone and move forward

Summerville I'm not interested in. Villa have been linked to him in the last few weeks.

Fernandez we've got no chance of getting. I reckon he'll be on his way to Chelsea.

Diouf would be a good punt we were after him last summer but I expect the owners we'll be mooching around the free market for a new LB or somebody dirt cheap

I’d take Diouf, upgrade on Byram and good competition for Gudmundsson, Justin & Bogle. Great cross on him & a big lad too.

I defo think Taty would be a good signing. Good competition for the Okafor spot & could do the pressing that Aaronson does.

Personally, if we’re going for anyone from wham, depending on the system we play going forward, I’d go for Disasi, absolute ****ing unit.
Agreed, especially if Struijk isn’t getting a new deal as then we’ll need two CBs. Need 5 if we’re playing 3 at the back really. Saying that Spurs losing atm so with our depleted team all might not be lost for West Ham yet.

The Bosman players will all be released by Leeds as they're not Prem level ... can't see us getting rid of James and Gnonto though, they're good players and will cost a stack to replace ... Piroe is still a good player, but he won't want another season on the bench so can see him being sold/loaned

Ramazani is the interesting one, the lad is quality and all he needs is a manager who backs him completely and lets him play ... we've seen his ability, he's definitely Prem level but needs his confidence raised to get him to play to his potential ... issue of course is where he fits into Farke's system, and he may end up as a squad player next season if a sale can't be arranged

Darlow needs to move on, and a quality keeper has to be signed ... thing is, Perri was rated a top keeper in France, but he looked nervous when he started out at Leeds ... however, he has definitely settled down in the Cup games, and showed he can become a very good keeper ... he looked a lot more confident in the Cup, and that will probably be down to less pressure ... don't be surprised to see him start for Farke next season now that he's found his feet
All very interesting but have seen nothing to back up your claim on Ramazzani, sorry.

Mateus Fernandes was my first pick last summer and he has had a great season. Definitely take him if we could get him. Not sure midfield is a priority though.

Diouf was also a name i threw out there when Senegal beat England in a friendly last summer. We were linked with Diarra who ended up at Sunderland but it was Diouf that caught my eye. Defensively frail but a unit and he whips crosses in for fun and would suit Calvert-Lewin really well. Perfect as a wing back so would be great competition for Gabi. No good as a left back in a back 4 though.

Freddie Potts would be a perfect back up for Ampadu. Only 22. Over 6ft. Good in the air, defensively sound and decent on the ball. Press resistant. Had a really good Championship season with Pompey. A bit of a gamble but I think his style would suit us and also bring the average age down a bit. We can make him better.

Wouldn't touch the rest of them including Bowen or Jimmy. Quite like Taty but it would have to be less than they paid so unlikely.

What did they pay for taty? I remember we were heavily linked with him under orta when he was still in the mls

£27 million.

I'd pay £15 million tops. Depends how desperate West Ham are for money.

He ‘s not been prolific since he came to Europe but he looks a good technical player and he works his socks off. So fits the profile. Meant to have a cheap relegation clause too. Wouldn’t be the worst squad addition at the right price.

Yeah, would be a good replacement/upgrade for Piroe in the squad and very different to Nmecha and DCL.

I like the look of Danilho Doekhi on a free from Union Berlin. Dortmund are interested. He's a bit of a beast and would fit in perfectly to our big bastard fc model. 27 years old too.

If we dont get Doekhi then I would happily replace Bornauw with Esteve from Burnley. Left footed, 23 year old.

Yeh esteve was great in the championship last year - found it harder this year but not surprising given the circumstances.
