I’m not sure what the logic is with the EFL. Cheat or Gain an advantage in one game and you are awarded a loss in that game. That is logical, but gain an advantage in every game and you get awarded a loss in 2 effectively.
I don’t see how we can argue that awarding boro a win in leg one would be grossly unfair and that’s effectively what they’ve done. 4 point deduction for the other cheating instances, ok I guess. But how does that tally up with all the financial cheating where every game clubs are fielding players in breach of the rules? I have no idea.

I'll be very surprised if this was sanctioned above Spors and Tonda.
They both came from German football where spying on oppo training is rife and almost accepted. If they don't get a ban from the EFL then I want them to resign or be sacked and the football side of the club has a reset and make a fresh start.
I feel like the unbeaten and cup run is tainted now and it all feels a bit grubby after feeling great pride and it is not a nice feeling.
Some things are bigger than success and honesty and integrity are important to me and at this moment I feel like going to watch Sholing instead.
It's very likely that it will be a very different team by the end of August and you have to wonder if Solak will up sticks and pull out.
I love the club but the future is very much up in the air and it feels a bit like the worst of the Lowe years right now.

There is a case for a complete reset for the Club. The one started in 1885 has been destroyed by this and all the faithful fans over those years, the people who managed and played in our greatest moments have been completely besmirched.
It should be a completely new set up and a genuine attempt to separate what follows from what we are now suffering from. Like many others on here I’ve had to tell others in my family that we’re not going to Wembley after all. My oldest son who is autistic and wears a Saints shirt when watching them on TV or listening to radio commentaries, has gone into a bit of a shell, simply cannot understand it. Right now I wouldn’t feel responsible for my actions if I was face to face with those responsible for this mess and ask them how they would go about explaining their actions to someone like him!!

It 100% goes deeper than those games. The EFL are keeping it quiet though. Why would we spy on Oxford and Ipswich but not Wrexham or Derby?
