Im 100% behind Tonda. Come on back the man . He's the best young coach in Europe. Don't mug yourself
Again, there's a good chance this won't be our decision to make. If the reports that he's admitted responsibility are correct then he'll almost certainly get a lengthy ban from the FA anyway.

That reflects badly on the club too, it's surely our responsibility to ensure staff are educated on industry regulations.

If he was a few weeks into his job and this had happened, the defence might be credible. But he's now almost 7 months into the job. If we're not teaching our staff about the rules and regs in a season, then we have a really big problem with leadership and accountability behind the scenes.

There is a case for a complete reset for the Club. The one started in 1885 has been destroyed by this and all the faithful fans over those years, the people who managed and played in our greatest moments have been completely besmirched.
It should be a completely new set up and a genuine attempt to separate what follows from what we are now suffering from. Like many others on here I’ve had to tell others in my family that we’re not going to Wembley after all. My oldest son who is autistic and wears a Saints shirt when watching them on TV or listening to radio commentaries, has gone into a bit of a shell, simply cannot understand it. Right now I wouldn’t feel responsible for my actions if I was face to face with those responsible for this mess and ask them how they would go about explaining their actions to someone like him!!
That’s horrible mate. Hope you can get an arm round him and cheer him up. We all know how he feels!

Yeah it’s no defence at all for me. I’m certain someone who did know the rules knew he was doing it.

It definitely raises at least a few minor questions about the run too imo.

Everyone waxing lyrical about how great he is at adapting to opposition. Players saying publicly how detailed he is on set pieces etc. and this could be a big reason why.

In my eyes it’s still a minor offence.

I would back Tonda next season.

It’s taken us ****ing ages to find a good manager.
Given that most on here (including me) think that it’s been happening way more than they’re admitting, the question is, is he that good without the spying?

We've (mostly) all thought the club has been amateur hour from top to bottom for a few years now but it looked like that had changed. Clearly not though.

Yeah, I'm not sure feigning ignorance does anything other than make us look poorly run behind the scenes. A ban by the FA is surely coming now.

I'm sorry but Spors and Tonda have to go, they have spoilt this whole season for me and i'm more disillusioned than i've been with the club for a long time and that will continue if they remain here.
Some things are more important than success and that is honesty and integrity and ignorance of the rules is not a defence in my view.
I can see both returning to Germany where their reputations won't be as tarnished.

So Oxford didn't know about this but our messages gave it away. Big lesson to be learned. Don't put anything in writing. I know a lot of people who work in jobs where their emails etc can be released under FOI rules. They all just phone each other to discuss anything sketchy.

Or you could not cheat, but I know which is more likely.

Amateur Hour FC strikes again.
