Problem is you are going to get an even bigger pansy or a real hard line leftie, neither will be good for the country overall61 MP's now calling for Keir Starmer to go, the threshold to trigger a leader election is 81.
Free Chupa Chup lollipop as you exit? You have to make voting as pleasant/convenient as possible.
Keir Starmer is finished, Shabana Mahmood has told him to resign, 72 MP's now, he's ****ed.
Edit: Yvette Cooper urges PM to set out timetable to resign.
I think that is the objective, get him to realise he just isn`t capable of doing the job and walk away. For there to be a leadership contest, there would need to be 81 Labour MPs united behind a named nominated replacement ... just don't see that happening ... at least not unless Burnham is an MP and therefore able to be nominated... Catch-22... so Starmer stays unless he just decides to throw in the can because he doesn't need the grief anymore ...
If you took the trouble to read the thread, you would see I've already said it would take 81 MP's - Just watching the newspaper reviews, Kevin Maguire, he's said Keir Starmer would need to do a political houdini to survive this, so I know you are blinded by your own ignorance mate, but he's a goner, but whether he chooses to throw in the towel matters not.For there to be a leadership contest, there would need to be 81 Labour MPs united behind a named nominated replacement ... just don't see that happening ... at least not unless Burnham is an MP and therefore able to be nominated... Mostly just excited to see which 27 different Gaza independents are on the ballot here for the Autumn 2026 election.

I think what Burnham has to offer right now is rare, an honest politician who cares about people.I don't give a **** what KS does, because I don't particularly like any of the others, other than Mahmood, but I guess it's all too early for her, and I don't really know what Burnham has to offer other than what some guys have said on here.
