This is a peak Saints target.

- man city elite development squad graduate
- played for Burnley
- double barrel surname
Completely agree, other than changing the order of priorities: Having a double barrelled surname should always be the most important consideration, if only to increase the price of shirts printed with players' names

Actually looks like he might have a triple-barrelled name? If that’s the case it won’t work and we shouldn’t sign him <whistle>

I imagine this is going to be a busy thread for us in the near future, but who will want to join a Club that cheats?
I imagine pretty much any manager that is at a lower club or player who is taking a big step up in salary etc because, putting to one side the current general sentiments of the fans, the "club" didn't cheat - it was the coaching staff.

If the club due their due process and those perpetrating it are all gone and new people come in and part of their mandate is to do things the right way and be seen to do things the right way then a lot of this will fade off pretty quickly - especially if we are in the mix from the start next season.

That isn't me putting the current feelings down at all - fully entitled to them but in the grand scheme of football once the media has sucked the life out of the story they will move on and we'll be left to repair the damage to our own fans - the rest of the football world will only care in passing (like the next time we play boro)

It's been targetted at the Club, Sponsors, Local Businesses, Players, Employees, the list is gaining momentum.

Can't see it happening like that (other than the three proven cases, and Boro is finished, Ipswich won't give a toss, Oxford won the game). Let's wait and see.

Other clubs can't sue us because they think that we might have been spying all season (without evidence, even though we blatantly have - laws don't work on feelings). The three games that are proven - one was a playoff game so has no bearing on the season and we've been punished for, one we lost, and one we 'gained' a point. We were far more than a single point into the playoffs, so it had no bearing. That's the only thing a club can sue us for and it would be thrown out.

With regard to the sponsors etc etc - all of that will be dependent upon the moves made by Solak now to 'clean' the club.

I didn't include other Clubs, they aren't the problem now. We still have to contend with whatever the FA chuck at us. Past experienced has shown that when a Club is on their knees, the powers that be, love to get a few more kicks and low blows in.

The FA aren’t suing us. They’ll be potentially giving bans to involved staff members. So that’s hardly going to bankrupt us (in fact it’ll help us re payouts).
