Belloumi gave up after 50 mins. He basically hung his boots up. Pandur wanted options, but he was faced with Belloumis back. He lost interest.
Anyhoo, to win on Monday, we need Ajayi to be a ****, and Joseph to get in faces.
Oh! and Coyle should go and be a captain at Scunthorpe or Boston.

I dont get all this hatred for Coyle but maybe im just not fashionable

Wouldn't mind us dropping Joffy for this and bringing Lunny in to play a bit deeper and let Crooks get higher up.

Don't think I would change much other than that though. Yu made a good cross in the first minute of coming on, then quickly faded from the game. Millar is frustrating, but he's a constant threat and is underrated for the work he does off the ball.

I understand the argument for Ajayi based on him being stronger, but Coburn was matched up with Hughes constantly so if he drifts to the left of our defence again it won't matter if we have Ajayi in on the right side.

I'm going ultra defensive. The game could well last 2hours plus added time and penalties.
It needs the sting taking out during the first half.
change it in the 2nd half and go for it.

Shhh

Wasn’t it last time at theirs, they had no proper midfield? I can see them starting Bannan for this one. If he starts, we have to get at him, even if he doesn’t, we can’t let him control it like he did on Friday.
Belloumi can’t start on the right, he probably hasn’t slept since, Sturge probably still giving him nightmares now.
Also commentators said Joseph’s old man was a Miwwaww fan. Learn something new everyday, but I’d forgotten he scored 2 there last time out.

I have no trust that Ajayi doesn’t turn in one of his stinkers so I wouldn’t play him. We’ve kept clean sheets in Hughes last 4 games so I’d name an unchanged defence.

I thought Coyle and Giles were both excellent nullifying their threat on the wings on Friday, so not sure why they are getting flack. Belloumi also had our best chance.

I think it’s really risky benching good players and aiming to bring them on after 60 minutes. Game could be gone by then. I think I’d make an unchanged line up depending on fitness.

Have we? I think you misread a stat about Cs in our four play off first legs. Hughes' last start was against Oxford.

Like I’ve said, not a fan of Ajayi, I think he’s too slow, but he’s stronger than Hughes, that’s the only reason I’d start him over Charlie.
As for Belloumi, I just think he wasn’t getting anywhere on Friday, Gelhardt is better on the right, & much more a c-nt, so for me he has to start on the right for all those reasons.
