I’ve no idea who were playing and when for my first visit.

All I can remember is it was in the early 90s and I was around 20! It was standing areas in the North stand before it became an all-seater.

Newcastle v West Ham - Win West Ham
West Ham v Leeds - Draw

Spurs v Leeds - Draw
Chelsea v Spurs - Chelsea Win
Spurs v Everton - Draw

Think you’ll go down, West Ham are playing good football and very unlucky, you beat Wolves (who hasn’t) and gifted 3 points by Villa who have an eye on the cup

I was an armchair fan from 1971, but didn't actually go to a match at the stadium until Aug 90, opening day of the season v Man City and we were led out by Gazza and Lineker following their exploits at Italia 90. we won 3-1 Lineker scored 2 Gazza the 3rd

As for tonight this is a tough game, I have been impressed with Leeds all season and see this as a big test, if (and its a big if) we can play with intensity that we played with at Villa we may give ourselves a chance, hopefully Leeds also being safe now may also an impact on their attitude and they maybe off to the beach! But having no pressure may also let them play with a greater freedom.

Our destiny is in our hands and we have to win, hopefully an unchanged team will give us our best chance.

Hard to know but I doubt the Leeds team has found the sun loungers yet. They still have a bit to prove. As you know, being safe can go both ways….. on the beach, or playing for fun.

I really don’t think Leeds are going to play with any less fervour simply because they are safe. This will be a tough game.

I do agree, I think you will be well up for it, I think my 'beach' comment was just wishful thinking. I have praised your side earlier in the season when you didn't get results your performances deserved. You are actually one of the few teams that I have enjoyed watching this season, but you will forgive me if I hope that you don't get a result tonight!

My nerves have kicked in.

I'd be much calmer if this was an away fixture.

Two wins at home all season is just atrocious.

It's a mentality problem, there is no question. We're bottom of the 'home table' but 5th in the 'away' one.

In fact even if we beat Leeds and Everton, we can't finish higher than 18th in the 'home' table.

It is mystifying.
