Yeah, probably, who defines whether a club is fashionable or unfashionable anyway, just thinking of parallels, and they are surrounded by cross city rivals, we famously have no rivals.
I think that we have no 'real' rivals / actual derby rivals other than those fabricated by Blunderside is one of our more 'uniqueish' traits. Our dislike of certain clubs tend to depend on when you were going in your 'prime' / getting bricked at your first away game...

Meanwhile... in the other game

This is what ive always worried about
You can film our training from loads of the houses

Whats to say a millwall analyst hasnt paid someone 200 quid to access someones bedroom?
Or put up some scaffolding to 'work'

Every club think they're special, individual and different and that we're somehow superior to other teams' fans in some way, don't we? Fantasy we all accept, rather than admit that we're just part of the machine.

I think the days of City being underestimated are long gone - an established Championship club for twenty years now, with a few cup runs and seasons in the PL under our belt. Probably just seen as any other tricky northern club, but with a better nightlife than Bilbao.
We are still underestimated though aren't we? The way we're being talked about in the playoffs is a prime example. There's loads of stuff about us sneaking in on the final day, a lot of outlets seem to genuinely not know that we were in the playoff places for 4 months and only dropped out of it for a week just before the end of the season. I simply can't believe that if hypothetically it was Leeds in the exact same scenario with the exact same squad people would talk about them in the same way. It would be the complete opposite I'm sure of it.

That Greek fella from Dragons den in a high vis jacket pretending to be a street cleaner, whilst noting down Serge shouting 'all up for the corner'?

Im very sure arsenal rented a house down that street prior to the fa cup final
Its pittance for them

Regularly done for racist chanting over many years
Done for homophobic chanting a couple of years ago
Nah don’t want to be associated with them one bit
Nowt wrong with Millwall, many peoples favourite club to dislike, not mine. If we don't make promotion I'd be happy to see them do so.
Oh, and we'd never have homophobic chanting at the MKM, oh...

Can't see them having passive support in the prem like the smaller London clubs, Fulham, Brentford, still its up to us to prevent some people's nightmare scenario unfolding.

I think to most casual championship followers now, city have been around the promotion mix a lot since 2007, 23/24 recently for example.

Those I know who are foreign football fans as such, see City as one of the bigger established championship clubs outside of the relegated PL teams and that nearly being relegated (and being in league one) was more of a surprise than being in the top 6.

Internationally known for having had a wealthy local owner who pumped millions into the club for players and having had Bruce as a manager - this really put the club on the back pages as such. The problems afterwards were really just a footnote from their perspective. I'd say a team such as Luton were under-estimated when they got promoted, but City in the playoffs won't shock many these days from my point of view.
