Reckon there's a good chance there'll be some Boro fans who'll look to take it out on Saints fans sadly. Hopefully I'm wrong but they've got a reasonably large minority of idiots.

Hope it’s not true. Don’t see the need, and comes across as desperate and pathetic imo. We should just trust in our own players and game plan and what we already know about Boro. And didn’t need to for Fulham, or Arsenal or anyone else during this run, so not sure why we’d think we’d need to now.

Unless we've been doing it for months without getting caught :bandit:

Does reek of desperation and a lack of confidence though imo.

Seems very odd, and the cynic in me thinks this is mainly some added "spice" to get the Boro supporters fired up. You have 30 Championship games from this season of Hellbergs team and the setups used etc, so it would be beyond stupid to do.

An EFL spokesperson said:

“The EFL has written to Southampton FC requesting their observations following a complaint from Middlesbrough FC relating to alleged unauthorised filming ahead of the two Clubs meeting in Saturday’s Championship Play-Off Semi-Final First Leg.

“The alleged incident is said to have taken place on Middlesbrough’s private property by an individual identified to be associated with Southampton. The League is treating this matter as potential misconduct under EFL Regulations and will be making no further comment at this time.”
