I was at WF yesterday and the feeling with the Boro lads was that Saints are on an upward charge. Some of them have got their away tickets and don’t fancy a long trek if the first game goes against them. I told them it depends on which Saints turn up, the Arsenal or Coventry Saints or the Oxford or Boro away Saints.

Yeah. Looks like there’s still 70/80 tickets left. Bit surprised at that considering our away support this season.
I'm not. Quite short notice, plus we've had one Wembley trip with the potential for another. The cost of getting to Boro and back is quite high.

Talking of digital tickets, has anyone had the home leg ones in the App yet? They normally arrive a week before.

Hellberg has confirmed Hackney is back in training but will be on the bench at best on Saturday.

If he’s only just back training this week, I’d be surprised if he could feature much at all. Feels like he’s been out quite a while.

In other news this has sold out now too
Yeah, even if he gets on the pitch in either game he's probably going to be very rusty (note the word probably to avoid the Tom Curse).

Boro extending and opening their fan zones at 9am for this, assume it’s all part of trying to help the atmosphere for an early KO and with the coach welcome at 10:20 too. Feels like they’re really bigging this up more than we are at the moment.

Middlesbrough have caught what is thought to be a Southampton first-team analyst allegedly recording their training session from a bush, in a sensational repeat of the Marcelo Bielsa ‘spygate’ furore.

Daily Mail Sport can reveal that an individual was spotted and approached by club staff on Thursday morning at Boro’s Rockliffe Park training centre, 48 hours before Kim Hellberg’s side host Tonda Eckert's Saints in the Championship play-off semi-final first leg.

It is claimed the male deleted video and pictures from his mobile phone and refused to identify himself. He then left the site of the training ground and made his way into the nearby Rockliffe Hall Hotel, owned by Boro chairman Steve Gibson, before changing clothes in a toilet and leaving the area. It is understood Boro have contacted the EFL, given spying on opposition training would breach the League’s rules.

We are aware of the individual allegedly involved and his public profile pages identify him as a current employee of Southampton.

Confirmed by Alfie House now. Saints are issuing no comment to all enquiries. EFL have confirmed they've received an allegation of spying
You call this confirmed?
"EFL aware of the story regarding an allegation of spying at the Middlesbrough training ground but are establishing the facts before commenting. No comment from either club made at this time."
If it is confirmed I'll express my disappointment that the club would sanction such behaviour until then I'll take anything from the Mail with a pinch of the proverbial.

The reporter in question is ITK when it comes to NE teams so have little reason to doubt the story.
