Congrats to our joint winners this week @tomw24 and @saintrichie123 both with 36 points :emoticon-0148-yes:

Three players picked up bonus points this week for predicting 4 or more correct scores - tom had Bristol City's 2-0 win against Stoke, Ipswich's 3-0 win against QPR, Millwall's 2-0 win against Oxford and the 2-2 draw between Wrexham and Middlesbrough, saintrichie had Hull's 2-1 win against Norwich, the Millwall win, Pompey's 1-1 draw against Birmingham and the Wrexham-Middlesbrough draw and RSS had Sheff Wed's 2-1 win against West Brom, the Pompey-Birmingham draw and the Ipswich and Millwall wins.

For the goalscorers, Philogene, Burgzorg, Windass and Azeez all scored at home and Stewart and Larin scored away. Nobody had 4 scorers though so no bonus points.

The best bonus games this week were Preston-Saints, Swansea-Charlton, Watford-Coventry and Wrexham-Middlesbrough, all with 4 goals, and fran, SaintStu, RAWMOK and RSS all picked 2 of those games.

That late run of form over the last month has also seen @SaintStu narrowly hold off the chasing pack to be crowned our Overall champion :emoticon-0148-yes:

Thanks to everybody for taking part this season, I hope you have enjoyed it. I will be back again in June for the World Cup Prediction Competition :emoticon-0100-smile

Cheers,

Should I be happy or sad? Sad, because I was leading with one week to go, happy because it is my highest placing ever! Thank you as always Jacks for enabling those of us who never watch football these days let alone Southampton against some very knowledgeable pundits who would put the professionals to shame.

Just an observation! This season's points total.seems a lot lower than in previous ones thus proving that Championship results are harder to predict.than Premiership ones.

I look.forward to participating in the WC prediction games.

Last time we were in the Championship, so 2 seasons ago, tom's winning score was 412. SaintStu's winning score this season would have had him in 11th place that season...!!

The winning score for RSS in the Prem last year was 439.

Maybe we have all just been completely useless this year :emoticon-0102-bigsm :emoticon-0102-bigsm

It was the first half of the year that did us in!

JUst to add my thanks to @jacksk1 for keeping the prediction league going for yet another season. It really is one of those weekly rituals which I always look forward to carrying out.

Cheers @jacksk1 !
