Farage not willing to face scrutiny on the views of his candidates. Many are discriminatory or offensive. That’ll win them a handful on here …..

‘Six of them are here today", she continued. "The leader of the Greens, Zack Polanski, the leader of the Conservatives, Kemi Badenoch, the Transport Secretary, Heidi Alexander, is here for Labour, but not, however, is Nigel Farage. We told you last week he was fixed to be here, but his team have told us he changed his mind."

It didn't take long before viewers flocked to X - formerly known as Twitter - to share their disappointemnt at his no-show online. One user penned: "Twice now Nigel Farage has failed to turn up for an interview with Laura Kuenssberg. If he was scared of being grilled by Victoria Derbyshire, I'd have some sympathy, but Kuenssberg?"

Another agreed: "Oh! Nigel Farage has bottled it. Realising if he joins in the manufactured attempt to paint Jewish Zack Polanski as antisemitic, he'll be destroyed, given his documented bullying of Jewish school boys."

"Reform has had a lot of well-documented problems with candidates expressing or sharing offensive views. Of course, we would have put those to Nigel Farage if he hadn't changed his mind about coming in this morning."

What's your cause and effect analysis of the " horrible incident" on the streets of our Capital?

Cause of this one? Mental illness, mistakes made in managing it. The bloke has attacked his own people before. If you read into you’ll see that.
Id be more worried about whatsapp groups than marches in relation to anti semitism. I’m not a marcher, financial equality is my thing, but if we sell arms to an aggressive genocidal state and take sides in a complex situation, we’ll get people who object. The cause of demo’s is clear.

Anyone voting to have their elderly relatives and diabetics to pay extra for their illnesses?

The cause of the demos is that people who are anti-West and/or anti-Jews now have an outlet for that while being able to keep up a veneer in their own minds of being righteous. We’ve got people shouting at shelf stackers in Sainsbury’s over Israeli avocados. It’s borderline mental illness.

They are demonstrating against the current Israel government being ruthless warmongers who have slaughtered humans and blockaded food and medical supplies.

Do you support the approach of Netanyahu? If you do you’re part of the problem. I support calm and peace on all sides. I want people to stop dying. Many jewish people pray for peace.

There are people as you describe of course, as i said, whatsapp grouos etc but the cause of demo’s is the slaughter of gazans not avocado’s.

So the aggressive, genocidal state, which has an historical and approved reason to exist, having been under a constant threat of attack for over 75 years, isn't deserving of support in not allowing people of its' faith to live their lives in peace in our hitherto tolerant society in our Capital city?
Please don't suggest it's the Tories or Farage's fault!

He should have gone in harder in hindsight but otherwise I think he’s managed things quite well in the circumstances. Not perfectly of course but imagine a Starmer/Macron type faced with what he has.

Never-ending peace is a fantasy unfortunately so none of the options are good but I’ll take alive and hated over dead and hated anyway.

Foolish remark.

Defending antisemitism… no surprise with this one.

Excusing this as mental illness, is quite frankly, disgusting. No less could be expected from you with the views that you hold.

The guy knew what he was doing. He travelled miles on public transport amongst many people and did not attack anyone. He then walked through Golders Green and past many people without attacking anyone… until he seen Jewish people, who he then attacked.

That isn’t mental illness. It was cold and calculated. He went out with the intent of killing Jews through sheer hatred.

It just shows how difficult this all is.

Some see Netanyahu as a just and capable man ...

... I see him as an evil psychopath who isn't fussed about how many innocent people he kills.
I'm disappointed to read that from you mate. Please revisit modern history. Coming as we do from the Consett steel works and coal mines...if we're under attack,...we always fight back!
What did Hamas think would happen when they attacked a peaceful Israeli gathering killing 1500 people?

I'm specifically talking about Netanyahu, not the entirety of modern history.

To be fair you're not talking about the entirety of modern history, just this incident at the gathering.

I'm not defending Hamas in any way, and never would, but I'm entitled to my opinion of Netanyahu and his cohorts.

I class him alongside Trump who talks about people's deaths as if it's all a video game.

Of course you're entitled to your opinion....I would never dispute that. But,this incident at the gathering was the latest in the series of modern history which has ultimately defined the next chapter. And,as I've already intimated, tough, resilient people under threat, fight back.
