Used to laugh at this all the time, suckering a ref in to come over and check. Now however, assuming the refs speak to each other, because of this they never bother to check. A case of crying wolf?

We basically won the game by winning important headers and making the most of set plays. Oli's flick on made the opportunity for Gelhardt to win the pen, then Crooks' header across made the second goal, and even the other best chances of the game were from another Giles free kick and another Coyle one which was crossed again by Egan for Crooks to win another header and almost score. Funny how simple the game can be sometimes. We were just better than them in the air and it's rare that that happens.

They had better ground forces but we had air superiority.

Real similarities with the cross that Bo Myhill caught at Wembley in 2008. In the moment I was half expecting Wayne brown to pop up and jump on Pandur's shoulders!

Don’t, I often replay that moment and in it, Brown dislodges the ball from Boaz’s grasp for an easy tap in.

I think it stopped (thank ****) since we lost concentration and conceded early season.

Totally agree, Lewie should be club captain, there are others more suited to the onfield role, and it’s crystal clear to see.

real leaders don't need an armbands they just do it, arm band doesn't mean much on the pitch
