Playing with 10 is difficult regardless of opposition

challenging and thankless task, always up against it. Good application and didnt down tools a positive.

1 point from Villa, Forest and Wolves.

Slump

Really? We would've won today if we had a full team! Wolves didn't even look that good against 10 men FFS

Mental headbutting isn’t violent conduct. Decent secomd half there. Big summer coming up, think we’ll be busy. Need some quality going forward. Haven’t got the depth at all

Villa I thought we played well, could have won it but the game was entertaining and we got plenty of plaudits from the Villa fans, fair enough.

Forest, dire, our worst performance of the season by a mile. Not a single positive.

Today, could have won that had it not been for the card. 4 points out of 6 from the bottom team which I’d argue is better than the usually ‘typical Sunderland’ who can graft points off the big teams at times but then throw it away against the relegated teams.

1 out of 9 is not good, but weirdly I don’t think we’ve been as bad as some say (forest aside of course).

Today the team put a real shift in for over an hour and we still looked a threat and made it an even game
