Not at our best. Again.
Looked tired. Again.

But we got the result. And we can keep confidence high.

Oooft now the real nerves start ay! 3-1 win on the final day has to be a good omen!! What an end to the season, still unbeaten and we seriously owe Boro one. Let’s av it!!

Managing to keep the unbeaten run going and still pulling off wins like today despite looking very tired for weeks now, and often looking like we are managing our way through games in as low a gear as we can get away with AND without some key players which has also affected how we can use the bench and limited our ability to rest some players who have had to be flogged recently. Well done Saints!

We now have the longest break we've had since the end of March before the away leg up at Boro and at a minimum we will have Downes back for that, hopefully Matsuki and Stephens too. The players will want to put right the away game up there in the league too.

Results couldn't have gone much better really.

Game and atmosphere a bit meh tbh.

Glad it's done now though, this season has genuinely wiped me out a bit physically as well as financially. Just need to stick to my guns on the play offs.

Chose a brilliant parking spot but then walked the wrong way, still quite a way away <doh>
<laugh> My fault for not coming with you.

<laugh> My fault for not coming with you.

I was just trying to be quick and get stomping and wasn't paying enough attention.

Didn't walk that way to ground either so took me a while to realise. Nearly there now thankfully.

Yeah, he's totally earned forgiveness on that one!

He certainly saved us far far far more than he's cost us. But he does do that too much for me, getting caught out by being too far up the pitch when the opposition suddenly have a break on. It has cost us a few goals this season and a couple of other times the other team have just fluffed their lines when presented with that opportunity.
If he'd stayed back I'd back him to make the 1v1 save if it came to it, but it might not even have come to it as a Saints player would have come across if he didn't leave the goal open. Still love him, but would like to see him learn from these mistakes.
