I’m totally over it now… it doesn’t define our season.
A few tweaks here and there from RLB we will be fine. But watching last night I think Diarra needs a break and bring Gertie in. Also Enzo needs to play on the Middle and Talbi needs to be involved… this manager malarkey is sooo easy

I thought quite a few players should've been rested after the derby tbh ...

... Rigg, Brobbey, O'Nien, etc, all went through an emotional wringer and there was no need to play them.

But, the truth is, RLB is in his first ever PL season just like lots of the players.

He's ahead of half the league so I'll excuse a few mistakes, can't wait for Wolves which should be another open game.

We all would have taken 17th before a ball was kicked, and we’ve never really been in a fight. We’ve overachieved so I hope they’ve all got a plan to take us up to being a solid established team the next few years.
Leeds fans tell us all the underlying data has us going down and we’ll be hit with secomd season syndrome. Is the data that relevant and if So how does Regis fix this? Is it more players or is it a system thing? Have we really been that fortunate? A can’t see kyril letting us stagnate and not investing again

Twas a weird game of footie, that!!
After missing a couple of chances ourselves, we’re unlucky for 0-1, gave them 0-2.
Went for a ****e, comes back to it and it’s 0-4.
What could go wrong, certainly did, as we gifted them 4 goals.
Then it’s all us in the 2nd half, and they score in added time with their 1st shot, as we went to sleep.
Just a weird game, but we were a long way off our best.
Think they’re on the beach personally, which is a shame. Transfer talk might also be affecting some of them.
Hope RLB can cajole them into a strong finish and we finish in the Top 10 and above The CRAAS!!

Bart

It may be controversial but after Mukiele was back after injury, I would've kept Geertruida at right back and brought Mukiele back into the side alongside Alderete when Ballard was injured. I thought Geertruida had got up to speed match fitness wise and was looking sharp against the mags. Yes Mukiele brings us something different going forward but I thought Geertruida had deserved to keep his place

When we got promoted, players like Patterson, Neil and Roberts were replaced with better players.
I wonder if it’s crossed any of the current players minds that if we get into Europe, they may end up being replaced.
I’m not saying they deliberately play badly but if they think they are playing their way on to the subs bench or even the U21’s would it (maybe even subconsciously) affect their game?

That’s exactly what I said about them playing to get in the premiership.
So the answer is no. :emoticon-0148-yes:

Can’t see it. These are professionals who all believe they’re good enough to play in Europe. I can’t imagine any of them would be happy with finishing bottom half of the league each year.

I have a feeling that the way our game at Villa finished, it really knocked the stuffing out of them.

I don't blame him for being pissed off. He would have already known they were having an off night. He (or any other player) didn't need knobs in the crowd pointing that out and booing the team.
I saw the lad arguing with Nordi and then flashing the finger to him as he walked away.

Calmed down,

Masters of our own Downfall last night. But if you think 5 years ago we won on the final day of the season in L1 to confirm POs shows have far we have come.

Just annoying that we are so close to European places and that’s what they offered up

Anyway in a bar watching the saints game and it’s very nervy

Thought I had got over it but have been frustrated all day. Everything went for Forest with those chances/goals last night and although we played well in spells there were too many stray passes and underperforming players.

The main thing though is that we are comfortably safe and can look forward to further building an experienced squad.
