A lot of Spurs fans really have wet the bed over the Brobbey push like it was some huge deliberate act of violence. Deflection if you ask me. Brobbey’s push was far less physical than he received in that game and every other game.Maybe they’ll move on to another scapegoat when they next play. Maybe they should just face up to the truth of their embarrassing team.

I keep watching it back and here is my 2 pence

Brobbey was running full pelt to try and see if he could see the ball and get the ball, as he had a right to do,

Romero stepped in front of both Kinksy and Brobbey, without comms to Kinksy saying I have this, Brobbey couldnt see what was going on in front and put his arms out from stopping a bigger collosion. He was protecting himself. Romero was already going down, the from the seeing the outcoming Kinksy trying to collect the ball. the collision was going to happen no matter what, probs would have been worse if Brobbey landed on one of them if he didnt have his arms out to try and slow himself down

You can see Romero looking back over this shoulder to where Brobbey was, imo he was LOOKING for the foul, as he knew what was going to happen.

Yes the collosion was awful and Romero is out for the season, but there was nothing Brobbey could have done different without injuring himself in the process.

No difference to Enzo being pushed over by Jimenez at Bournemouth …

… in a crowded area running at speed.

I disagree. There is a difference Le Fee was completely in control of the ball and about to get a shot away when he was shoved to deliberately stop said shot. Much more obvious a foul than the Brobbey incident imo.

Yes, I didn’t make my point clear to be fair.

What I mean is that Jimenez wasn’t deliberately trying to push Enzo into the boots of the other defender …

… he was just pushing him, not the assault some people are claiming.

Two said it wasn't an 'unnecessarily reckless action' while three disagreed ...

... btw that's not cheating, it's fouling and it's a man's game.

Spurs have plenty of cheats so you must know the difference.

It is funny that you're still going on about this tbf

CRISTIAN ROMERO escaped a red card for a horror tackle that sparked a mass scrap in Tottenham’s 4-1 defeat of Newcastle.

I'd say going over the ball, onto someone's ankle, is worse than pushing a player in the back.

Brobbey couldn't have specifically meant to guide Romero's knee onto Kinsky's head ...

... it was just sheer good fortune <laugh>

Do the words pot and kettle ring a bell with you? Most of your players threw themselves at the ground as soon as a Sunderland player had the audacity to tackle the ball away from them!

Listen mate, you're fighting for your lives to stay in the premier league not because you lost against Sunderland, you've been **** for 2 seasons now and believe me, I'm talking from experience - if you circle around the relegation plug hole long enough, it'll suck you in. You might think the football community owes you something but it doesn't

Or cheating Romero, stopped on front of Brobbery, who had to slow down, it was hardly a push, but Romero when he felt the touch tried to get Brobbery a 2nd yellow and sent off. This is what the referee saw...his cheating backfired on him big style... a fitting result for an arse of a player. Typical entitled Spuds, they are never to blame!

If you look at the incident Romero’s knee buckles when he plants it inviting the push. If he’d kneed Kinsky it couldn’t have caused that injury, it’s impossible. At worst he’d have waited for the physio but he knew what he’d done.

Romero injured himself and he knows it.

When you say 'we' you meant 'I' didn't you . . . . and even you obviously don't (couldn't possibly) really mean it :emoticon-0136-giggl

There must be parts of 606 that simply don’t appear on my pages.

People are elected spokesman for an entire fanbase, opinions are verified as facts and posters voted ‘best in show’ …

… strangest of all are how supporters of different clubs post for a time then vanish from these pages as if they never existed.

I’d check the forum rules if I had the slightest interest in them or what they're saying <laugh>
