Football Focus has done one after over 50 years on the box, I actually thought it ended a couple of years ago!
Its a pretty redundant programme nowadays given how easy it is to find absolutely everything about any football club, player, game online. Same as match of the day. Why sit until 10:30pm to watch goals you can find all over the place from 5pm onwards, or earlier?

Its a shame as for many football fans 'focus' was thw start of the best day of the week with match of the day and a load of Chinese spilt down your top was the end.

I agree , I still watch Match of the day though , watch it next morning with my lad , just like I watched with my dad , It’s a tradition I won’t give up for instant gratification. My dad is still the only person I know who still watches it and avoids the scores all day.

He does well to avoid all of the scores.
I still prefer to watch MOTD to live games the same with Championship highlights

Used to watch MOTD until we got in the PL - then I stopped when we were relegated.

Love the old school mentality of avoiding the scores all day - remember a few dads of pals doing that back when football was hardly on.

Saint and Greavsie was my preference to be fair.

Shame about Football Focus, shame about Grandstand too all those years back.

What a theme tune though
