It’s hardly a stretch to imagine I came up with my own description that was similar to one of these. I work with a lot of middle management types who we always describe as swallowing a book of management speak. That’s because the way they present themselves is like it’s straight from some cringeworthy self help/managment/win friends and influence people style book.

I'm sure all your black colleagues will be thrilled to hear your take on whether or not they've experienced any racism at work. We should always listen to people's lived experience, but even more to people telling other people what they've experienced.
