Apparently he was a wheel chair user too
Which makes it even more strange
It's very strange. HDM saying his hobbies were hiking, climbing, etc, none of which are consistent with being a wheelchair user. It's almost like there are 2 Martin Chadburns.
Pretty poor reporting by HDM of what appears to be a tragic event.

I honestly had to double check as I thought I shouldn’t have posted that but it’s true

But in March this year he was wild camping and hiking up Scafell Pike and other places, according to facebook pictures. All a bit odd but digging into it makes me feel a bit grubby given what happened to him so I'm signing off.

Nothing to feel grubby about,I did wonder myself and it didn't seem to add up. If it is genuine enough then it beggars belief that it took a host of people to murder him ...

It's way beyond the pale and long may they suffer the consequences of their actions,it's truly abhorrent!!!

You don't have to be disabled to play wheelchair rugby league.
But his legs look to be strapped in T.W?

It's not important in the grand scale of things but it really does shock to the core if he was a wheelchair user.

I'm sure there are a few of us on here who've been involved in the odd tussle in City Centres at chucking out time(maybe not) but FFS,hitting anyone incapable of defending themselves brings about a serious question of morality?

Nice and handy for Arena anarl.
That’s the reason they’re putting it there.
Makes it much more attractive for large business conferences too. (Cos most want conference venue and hotel beds in the same place)
The Arena had 1400 surgeons at a conference there for 3 days a few months ago. That must bring a lot of money to be spent in local businesses you’d think.
Wykeland are doing some good stuff I think.

Out and about today around the city, and things seem to be on the move. The old Debenhams building is having work done to it on the Ferensway frontage, the Three Ships mural is being worked on, and Matalan on Kingswood is sectioned off, with work going on inside, ready for M&S moving in there.
Oh and good news for Springtiger, his 'favourite' shop on the edge of Paragon Square is gone, a new Turkish restaurant is in there now. :emoticon-0138-think
