Strange performance from City and why I don’t think they’ll win the league. They aren’t ruthless with every team like they used to be and seem to struggle getting up for the games against the lesser teams.

Still better than the Goons though

They don’t need to be prime City imo

I’m all for that Leeds goal counting for the banter of it and because it’s dumb when they’re disallowed but they’re so inconsistent with giving them or not for offside.

City back on top. Goons were top over 200 days.

Same points, same goal difference, just goal scored keeping them separated.

I still think Arsenal win it

Fans are a ****ing nightmare. Did they seriously think after the owner died anyone was going to care about the club, it was the fathers passion. Tbph I wouldn't even buy into my own club, they just drain the life out of you, it's a rich boys toy these days. They just need to get use to watching lower league football again and suck it up.

The son is young and relying on others to guide it. He was early 30s when the dad died and suddenly overnight losing his father and mentor as well as running businesses. Took a massive hit in the last few years in whichever industry it is. Can’t remember but there was a good article on the Beeb.

Basically it was likely to happen anyway but if they’d got top four in the two years they very narrowly missed out they’d probably be fine. We’re all a few bad decisions or bits of luck from being on the street. Bigger clubs than Lesta have plummeted through a mix of incompetence and bad luck and bigger clubs will again.

Leicester is definitely a case of incompetence rather than bad luck.

They’d overspent and were living beyond their means, they were banking on making the champions league and didn’t have anything in place to protect themselves from failure to do that. It has come back to bite them on the arse, big time.
