It seems Macondes and the club have reached an agreement for him to leave now on a free. The transfer window is still open in Norway and Sweden and apparently there are clubs interested in a deal.
PinkUn say they’ve spoken to the club and no contact has been made from any other clubs, sounds like agent talk getting him ready for a move in the summer maybe

Apparently we've been linked to this 22 year old Dutch CB who is left footed and can also play at LB.

The Fonville link has emerged again. Makes sense as he's a left footed CB who can also play at LB. Might mean that Medić joins Duffy in moving on.

There's also a possibility for a new Recruitment Chief:

I see posters on various sites postulating bringing back Lewis, Aarons or Godfrey this summer. Since leaving us :-
Godfrey, played 137 in 5y 8m, just 24 a year.
Lewis, played. 86 , also 5y 8m, just 15 a year.
Aarons, played. 44 in 2y 8m, just 17 a year.
Financially they are obviously much better off, but career wise not so much. The grass is sometimes not greener but parched.

Did they peak under us? Or did they simply make a step up which was beyond their regular ability to play?

A combination of injuries, systems, ability, luck and timing - it’s easy to forget that the hit rate for any signing by any club is probably less than 50%

If you want an idea of the randomness of success at top level football look at the careers of the Murphy twins - they have the same DNA and I think many of us would have said Josh was the better player with us and Cardiff got the better deal, and it certainly looked that way when Newcastle was loaning Jacob Murphy out. Now their success is dramatically different

Of the three I would take Aarons.

Lewis best asset was his pace and he seemed to have lost that a bit last time I saw him, not as strong as Chrisene and not as good on the ball as Mahovo.

Godfrey has rumoured off the field issues which would warn me against signing him.

Aarons would be an upgrade on Stacey in my opinion

Agree I would take Aarons back in a heartbeat and reckon he would fit our system very nicely

Just seen an article, ok it is on football league world, saying we are interested in a striker, Lorent Tolaj of Plymouth, along with Stoke, Swansea and Anderlecht. Scored 17 in 30 this season, Swiss national.

The 72 also had this earlier as well. We have 4 strikers now and our needs are greater at other positions, IMO.
PC seems to disagree, according to Paddy Davitt:

"Equally, the Belgian reaffirmed in the same post-match interview he is keen to source another more seasoned striker option in the upcoming summer transfer window to compete and push both Toure and Jovon Makama to higher levels next season. Competition and rotation were Clement’s mantra."

Perhaps he doesn't see Crnac as a striker?

Knapper has always insisted that Crnac's future is as a 9; but he hardly fits the "more seasoned striker" label. He's much the same age as Touré (22), with comparable experience. If "seasoned" means EPL ready, neither Mo nor Ante would currently qualify.

Looked him up on Transfermarket.com , can play either wing (maimly right) or attacking midfield, could he be replacement/cover for Jurasek after the issues he's had with injury/fitness?

Let's talk about Vlad...I think he has improved immensely over the course of the season, and often he has been our saviour with remarkable stops/reactions. However my sphincter does clench up whenever we have a corner to defend... can this part of his game be coached to better effect or do we seek a replacement? Perhaps I am overthinking...
