Looks like NJ has achieved what Bowyer could not.

Though to be fair Jones has not had Covid, the Old Scrote, and Vile Traitor to deal with.
God help us next season :emoticon-0131-angel
Or should that be Godden help us...

There should be huge helpings of humble pie being devoured elsewhere, but instead there will probably just be more vile, ignorant insults from those who have consistently got it so badly wrong for the past 5 or 6 months.

This is the situation as I understand it, at the bottom of the Championship.
Charlton can only get relegated if

A) Oxford win both of their remaining games
B) Charlton lose all 3 of our remaining games
C) Blackburn pick up at least 2 points from their 2 remaining games.

I don't even think there are any goal difference complications - if all three of the above things happen.
If Oxford get 6 points they will have a GD no worse than -13
If Charlton lose all of our games our GD can be no better than -15
If Blackburn draw both their remaining games they will have 51 points (one more than Charlton) so their GD won't matter.

The only GD complication might come if A + B do happen, but Blackburn only pick up 1 point.
Then GD would decide if Blackburn or Charlton finish 22nd.

However, I think there is only about a 0.001% chance that Oxford will win both of their remaining games.
If they don't, we are safe whatever else happens.

NOTE:

Oxford may win against the Owls (their next game)
But I can't see them beating Millwall on the last day.
Of course, just 1 point from any of our remaining 3 games will see us safe whatever else happens.

I cannot see us not getting the point to keep us up.

It is then a fight between Bleakburn and Oxford, I would rather Bleakburn went down as it is toilet.

Are Oxford playing Blackburn?

If not, surely Oxford and Blackburn could overtake us if they both win their remaining two and we lost our remaining three.

Maybe I'm just confusing the issue...

Ffs, all we need to do is get a point and the rest can f*** around staying up.

THAT IS ALL WE HAVE TO DO.

This thread is something that Seriously Ridiculous would be proud of.

So, technically, I'm right.

Blackburn have Sheffield United and Leicester. Oxford have Wednesday and the spanners.

My prediction: we will stay up on the final day after drawing with Swansea. (We will lose tonight and on Saturday.)

Cheers.

And I thought the Brazilians make things unnecessarily complicated!

We will not lose all three games, Oxford will not win both games. I could not give a f*** what Bleakburn do.

we will get no more points but we will stay up.
No way Oxford win both games. I don’t think they will beat Wednesday
