I'd be worried about Howe being in charge of transfers again this summer considering how bad his recent player recruitment has been. I'm sure Eddie's nephew is readying bids again for the likes of Delap, Solanke or Conor Gallagher even though they've all sucked ass this season.

We have a relatively new sporting director who will be in charge of transfers.

<cheers>

Paul Mitchell had the same role until Eddie ran him off because he didn't want to waste the transfer money on the overrated English cloggers on Howe's transfer list.
It's up to 'newbie' to do his job.

As far as Mitchell is concerned you're simply speculating. Plus wouldn't call Pedro, Sesko, Nick, Thiaw, Ramsey, Elanga or Etikite "English cloggers". So you're speculation seems pretty far off the mark and without foundation.

Eddie Howe has final say on ins and outs.. He's admitted it and that won't change just because a few fans think it will.

Paul Mitchell was correct and unfortunately nobody would listen to him. Averaging 49 million a player and it was only a matter of time until that went approach went wrong.

Now it appears people are saying it will change, but they have absolutely no evidence of that.

Time will tell if we go for proven PL players like Ekitike, Thiaw, Sesko, Nick, Tonali, Bruno, The Rat et al as the supposed narrative goes.

That's not why Mitchell said they recruitment strategy wasn't fit for purpose... They can't keep paying huge fees for players other clubs discovered all the time...it was always going to end like this eventually and it has... A huge failed spend was coming and he tried it stop it.

Oh well

Franculino Dju is one to watch btw. 21 years old, 16 in 17 appearances for Midtjylland. Technical, strong, ridiculously fast with a lethal left foot...
