Sounds like Newcastle aren't even bidding while Brighton go all in... The old Newcastle like the player, but don't want to bid stories circulating.
Howe probably has to say yes or something before we can bid.
The player doesn't strike me as a player profile Howe would want... I will wait for the ultimate outcome, but I suspect Brighton will act and Newcastle won't.

Whatever happens this summer the starting line up in August will have Pope, Burn, Murphy, Barnes in it.
