Dunno. Maybe there was a better choice of words. Just think that by always blaming a selection decision we sort of don't get to the root of what the actual issues are.
I just think the key issue basically since January is not knowing our best line up. No coincidence our last great performance (in my opinion) is either the Southampton win or Millwall loss where in both we had Joseph starting and full of energy on the wing. Joseph then got a goal and assist against Wednesday and has had one start since and barely any minutes.

It is strange

It’s still in our hands, no way Wrexham win their last two matches and Derby are finished. On we go to Charlton.

Remarkable moments at full time, the Leicester players performed a bizarre lap of honour, trudging miserably around the home stands to a chorus of boos.

I do think there's an obvious answer though, he just isn't as skillful as the players we have available now. Which is what people were complaining about when he was starting games because he was the best we had. Koumas like a lot of January loan signings has become a bit of a target but he has more quality than Joseph and I think Sergej tries to get as much quality in attack on the pitch as possible. You can disagree with it but I think it's daft to make out there's no explanation for it at all. If Joseph was starting it'd probably still be going the same and people would be asking why did we sign these players if we're just going to play Joseph.

He has nowhere near the quality of Joseph

****s me off that he made a big deal about bringing his fitness coach with him, and we're the least fit we've been in years.

Felt like under Rosie we'd come alive at the end of games as our fitness levels were great. He made of point of saying he'd spend pre-season getting them fit and to his credit he did, even lard arse Tufan.

Serj is deffo a soft touch that lets them get away with murder.
All the injuries this season are due to whatever goes on at Cottingham as well, I’m sure of it. Piss-poor conditioning and recovery is probably at the heart of it. I’d wager the individual training sessions are really intense but then the recovery is poor and that’s leading to all the muscle injuries and fatigue late in games.

A long post Benjo summed up by 3 words ... lack of professionalism.
Professionalism comes in different guises, but you're essentially right.

Lack of composure.
Poor decision making.
Poor substitutions.
Brain farts all season.
Naivety.
Implosions.
Too casual.
Headlessness.
Poor tracking back.
Lack of bravery on the ball.
Poor fitness in some instances.
Lack of desire.
Poor positioning.

For professional athletes, all of these things are unprofessional, and right now we're seeing too many of them too frequently.

I think there's a large helping of recency bias at play there. Nobody was praising Joseph's quality when he was starting.
True but Koumas comes from a Premier League academy and can’t dribble properly or control a ball and doesn’t look up. He dribbles whilst looking at the ball instead of what’s around him and still manages to get it caught in his feet.

It’s honestly like when Usain Bolt tried being a footballer and looked exactly how you’d imagine a sprinter playing football.

Agree to disagree, his skill has never been an issue, mainly his finishing. Go watch his highlights against Millwall where he had their full back on toast or his finishes against soton and Wednesday and tell me he's not skilfull.

Yes they were. Said very early in the season that he looked miles better than the season before and perhaps bringing him into a relegation threatened side from a league below was probably naive to expect too much from him previously. I also said he was a very key part of how we were going about picking up points despite him not being the one scoring all the goals.

When teams get to comfortably passing the ball around that's when they cut through us like butter and cause us problems. With Joseph on, they never get to do that and have to make their passes under pressure, which regularly gives us the ball back.
