Most things irritate me. Im finding as i get older im beginning to dislike people more and more. The countries full of self entitleted, self centred greedy tw@ts. Things like the fuel crisis that we're experiencing now is a prime example where we are seeing people panic buying and filling up jerry cans of fuel that they dont need just to stop anyone else from being able to have it.
We saw the same during covid aswell with people stock piling on bog rolls, rice and Pasta etc again just so nobody else could have it.

When you look back at old photos of the war when people queued up patiently waiting for their daily rations it makes you realise how much people have changed.. The world has become a horrible place.

The baby milk really really annoyed me.

People were either buying baby milk to stock up in case of shortages with normal milk, or buying baby milk and selling it on at huge profits on ebay.

There were too many frantic mothers struggling to feed their babies during covid. Thing is, you can live without milk. You can drink tea and coffee with no milk in even if you don't particularly like it black. Babies can only have baby milk and nothing else. The people causing problems for mothers or profiteering from babies basic needs are scum.

Somebody i know shamed their neighbour on facebook by taking a photo of all the food theyd bought that couldnt be frozen becaus3 of their lack of freezer space or just food in general that couldnt be frozen and ended up in the wheelie bin. The bin was literally over flowing with food that had passed its sell by date that many families were unable to buy due to shortages.

We live in a world now where its literally every man/woman for themselves.

We struggled as I was on the shielding list and it took a little while to implement priority slots with online shopping. I was getting government food parcels delivered until it was sorted with Sainsburys. Even when I did get a slot, it was difficult as I'd buy to cook for several meals, then end up with ingredients either missing or subbed with something random and I couldn't just pop out to pick things up. Had to be quite creative at times!

Someone on the SMB kept having a go at me saying I shouldn't be getting the food parcels or priority shopping slot as she claimed my children should go on the bus to get the shopping. My son was also on immunosuppressants so was also shielding and my daughter was too young to go on the bus and do a weekly shop by herself. Some people were unpleasant during that time with no empathy for others. She has Crohn's herself, so you'd think she would understand!

That part of life really opened my eyes to how horrible and selish people really are deep down. Im sorry to hear you went through that.

I treat everyone with a pinch of salt now. If people are decent with me ill be decent back.

They opened the supermarkets here early for the elderly to get in and get their supplies before the rest of the public.
One person oer household per day was allowed to go out.

I saw the same old duck buy a 24 pack of toilet roll every day for a couple of weeks. The lass that works at the front desk told me that after stocks returned to normal she tried to return it and was told no :)

People have become right twats. In covid I couldn’t comprehend how people could be horrible to shop staff as if it was their fault the shelves were empty- same people wouldn’t have gone out to the car park to confront the people with overflowing trolleys who were responsible for shortages - guess it’s the cowards who knew the staff were told not to respond. Today those types are having a go at garage staff

I stood behind a woman shouting and bawling at a young lad at the check out in Asda for not letting her buy 24 toilet roll. 2x packs of 12.
I said ill have one of them and snached it from her. I lived on my own at the time so i was more than covered in that department but wanted to pish her off even more. I went home and handed them out to my elderly neighbours that struggled to leave the house.

Still to this day nobody has been able to explain to me why people were panic buying toilet rolls during covid.

People who say "Im worth it"

Helium filled baloons

TV adverts suggesting you spray deodorant on your wedding tackle

Youths on electric bikes and scooters on roads and footpaths

Cafes and coffee shops that dont allow dogs

Cars with stupid exhausts that backfire on overrun.

The volume size of a pack of toilet rolls.

If you bought a dozen tins of beans from a shelf, nobody would notice. If you bought a dozen packs of toilet rolls, it leaves a noticeable gap on the shelf and it was the gaps that caused people to panic buy it.

Stock in supermarkets is based on a "just in time" system, so at the beginning of covid, the stats were not expecting people to buy all the toilet roll. There were issues fulfilling orders, and also issues throughout the supply chain due to less staff coming into work.

Supermarkets have extra hours on replenishing toilet rolls at Christmas, Easter and during events like the World Cup as people tend to buy more toilet roll then so they've got plenty in for having guests around!

It's also a fact that supermarkets have special offers on cheap curries and lager if they're massively overstocked on toilet rolls ...

... people will flock to the shops if they've been up all night with the ****s.
