I blame Ben putting 3-0 he should be banned

Trust me. I’m savvy. Leicester are on strike.

My sources close to both clubs have kept me in the loop & up to speed with the off field situation & how it will affect the on field performances of both teams,

I’m cognisant with all that will unfold this evening. You don‘t lay out this amount of coinage without your ego being fuelled by those who know.

It’s already written.

Definitely not....and he's not boring but we all know who is
I struggle with this. I don't really ever find football boring as such but I think I understand that the criticism of Rosenior was, at times, a lack of goalmouth action, chances, and ultimately goals. That being the case, I don't understand by what measure our recent football is not also considered boring. Loads of long balls to no one, very little pass and move type stuff, lack of chances, attacking players often not seeing the ball enough. That's been us since about Christmas. If any football can be boring I'd say this has been.

Rosenior’s football was boring but we were tidy in possession (had one of the highest possession percentages in the league) which meant we often controlled the ball and dictated the tempo of the game, even if we didn’t create much.

Pre-Christmas, Jakirović’s football was electric. We moved the ball forward quickly, hit teams on the counter with ruthless efficiency and whilst our defending was ****, we created and scored enough to be where we are. Since Christmas, it’s been some of the most dire hoofball I’ve seen for some time at City. It’s been worse than Sellés’ football at times.

And theres the rub.... the expectation pre Christmas was not what it is now. All of a sudden with some of the expected teams not performing the rationale changed. We became circumspect. Some players didnt perform coming back from injury, some really still aren't...

For all of the exciting football before Christmas, we still need to score three more to equal the goals scored that season under Rosenior.

What’s also quite interesting is that Rosenior managed the team to 9 wins and 7 draws in the second half of the season, for a total of 34 points. So far, we’ve won 9 and drawn 3 in the second half, earning 30 points. We need a draw and a win to equal Rosenior’s post-Christmas return.

It is a strange pattern that we keep becoming so goal-shy in the second half of seasons. This season felt so different at one point, but it's falling into the same pattern again. Doesn't seem to affect other clubs the same way.

There’s loads of clubs that start well and drop off. Most don’t have a summer transfer window in January either. Thats one thing that’s common between this season and Roseniors, and it’s got to have had an impact. We have a lot of bit part players making it difficult for them to build consistency.
