We never looked as though we were going to win. Usual problems we could not string 2 passes together. The midfield could not assert any sort of rhythm let alone dominance. Belloumi was outstanding and did not deserve to be on a side that could only draw. And nowI see he has given a set piece long throw option. Ajayi played really well and was well supported by Egan, Mcnair and Pandur who all had good games. Amir and Crooks were crap and Gelhardt is not a number 10. Not sure why we put Matazo on the bench if we are not going to play him-if we just need numbers just put one of the under 21's there. As others have pointed out we are if we carry on playing like this going to throw away an easy try at getting in the Big League since next season wont be the same as this one from a chance perspective. So frustrating and disappointing.

Our best midfield paring has been Amir & Slater or for one game Amir & Collyer, how would Amir & Matazo work? Can't remember Matazo playing its been so long.
IF Matazo was match sharp I think it would work very well.
Probably a fully fit Collyer and Matazo would have been the best pairing.
What might have been eh

The management team need to cop some serious flack for that and the last few dire performances. ****ing woeful.
For long periods today it was difficult to tell who were the side going for top 6, and those with Jack **** to play for. I've been watching City for far too long. Nothing much changes. Its been a great season, but maybe too long for us to see it out....I wouldn't fancy our chances if we have to beat Narwych on the final day.....Oh well. It's only a sport!

I wouldn’t be too bothered if only Slater and Matazo are regular starters in midfield next season. I’d keep Crooks but only as a squad player to bring on in the last 15 minutes. Same applies to Gyabi. We need at least three new midfielders in the summer. Zambrano could be one but we also need athletic, durable midfielders who can cover a lot of ground on and off the ball and don’t get injured for six weeks if someone farts near them.

I’m sure they’ll be a loan or 3 from Turkey.

Crooks is fine as third midfielder/ no 10(?). He hasn’t got the mobility to play as two in midfield.

If it were my call and we could raise the money, I'd be getting Zambrano and then (Zap) Brannagan from Oxford United. But only after we'd got a proper #6 in. Quite like that Ebou Adams at Pompey, he gets stuck in.

Maybe clutching at straws here but..

our next game is Leicester who have 1 win in 10
Oxford vs Wrexham - Oxford are very good at home recently.
Derby are shockingly bad away from home and their next 2 games are away.

But we have to start winning again...
