Good... He's been there, seen it, and done it all, plus I think his personality would work in Newcastle.
Would love him here.
Same, i'm up for it.

He would put us on the global map aswell.
Cough, PL not when they fill their boots against carrier bag. That is why we are so low. 4 truly magical assists all season.

So if Howe is such a good coach/manager why is it his favourites are all clamouring to leave in the summer. Do they know that NUFC will stick with Howe and he will limp on and they are saying thanks but no thanks? They are bored of him and his run, run and run some more.Gordon has the same amount of (non penalty) goals - 3- in the league as Osula despite Osula having about 3.5 games worth of 90's where as Gordon has over 20 90's under his belt.

This I strongly disagree with. There is no magic bullet. I think we are going to see a change in recruitment strategy but until we close the gap on the big 6 commercially (will probably never happen without further regulation) we're going to sit as also rans with the occasional CL foray and cup run.Get rid of him and Andy and everything will improve
I'll be honest, I've lost so much interest in both the club and football, not just because of this awful season but also the generally over-hyped, underwhelming nature of the premier league. I don't know exactly what it is, but the PL is just rank. Man U are ****ing awful and sit 3rd. Hell, the team in 1st are crap (is it still Arsenal?). City's billions offer nothing but bewilderment against the backdrop of cheating so what are we even watching, what does any of it mean?
I did flounce, I admit, after I said Wissa was ****ing garbage and was batted back because we hadn't given him a chance. That's Yoane "Like Brobbey's Post, Swap Shirts With Mateta" Wissa. This ****ing guy is an utter disgrace, a skidmark on the club, the biggest stain on the number 9 shirt I've ever seen but on this board it was sacrilege to call it out. How's it look now, lads?
I'm not interested in comparisons, it's utterly ****ing irrelevant. The only comparison I'd make was the Howe's results were as bad as Bruce's until the club spent a fortune on top end players. Look, I was there when one eyed jack sold Gazza soon after I'd gotten his autograph (still have it) when the lads went to an open night at Marks & Spencers in the City. I've been through Shepherd selling assets to his family, to the worst appointments we've ever had, to Ashley terminating Jonas' contract as he had nut cancer. We've all seen ****. I know the Howe years are more or less the best many of us have seen live. But I'm just ****ing bored out of my mind with Newcastle 2026. Turmoil and chaos is more fun than this. It's dreadful, inept, insipid, repetitive football on offer week after week, a coach looking dead on his feet, players angling for a move, entertainment absolutely zero. We hide behind a fabricated narrative of impressively 'reaching a UCL knock out stage' when it would've been harder to avoid it. It's achingly dull and pathetically predictable, right down to match after match of substitutions sometimes being predicted to the minute. Nick in midfield, Trippier on the field, laughable options in goal, £125m of strikers on the bench in favour of Osula who was sold to Villa, or was it Frankfurt? I don't think the same back four have taken to the field two games in a row. It's loathesome. It's like supporting a factory - churn **** out, and look at the balance sheet. But, sure, tell me again Eddie how you "expect a reaction" and how we're making "uncharacteristic mistakes". It's the 2026 "roll wor sleeves up".
What makes it all worse is the vast majority of comments I've seen online (from taking a back-seat, new job and all that) that we should somehow, inexplicably, back Howe to oversee another rebuild, then watch it and do it all again. His nephew now has another job title - third in three years - after overseeing a ****ing debacle of a Summer window at the club that has set the club back, what, 2 or 3 years? I get the pro's; didn't Howe do well (when there was one game a week)? Didn't he get us in the CL (as he spent more than 15 other clubs and finished in the top 5)? The League Cup will long live in the memory and there's no doubting that was a fantastic moment, even if it's the lesser of, well, all trophies. But **** me, are we really all obtuse to the stuff that unfolds in front of us week in, week out?
There's so many excuses, so much fawning affection. Plucky underdogs, that's the team mantra. Run harder, faster. That's it. No skill, no control, no patterns, no plan. And a board that doesn't seem to have a ****ing clue.
It was said earlier - if Howe's so brilliant, why did our best striker want out, why does our best talent want away - and nobody can convince me Bruno's genuinely ill either. Nobody wants to be here, we're a stepping stone, a reality check on the journey but one that cannot be ignored. We're not a destination because we have a **** training ground, a creaking stadium, a nice manager who has his nephew as "senior football exec" or some other ****. I don't get it - I don't get why anybody wants to spend a minute of their life watching Harvey ****ing Barnes, Jacob ****ing Murphy (c), Aaron ****ing Ramsdale, Anthony ****ing Elanga, dick about on a football field for 90 mins week in, week out. Who loves these players? Who wants more of this stale, uninspiring crap? It would seem a lot of our fanbase still do, in the guise of 'support'.
I don't and won't post much here now - you'll be delighted to know - but the club is ****ing stale. Football is just a ****ing movie, it's about excitement, drama, chaos at times, goals, crowd roaring, engagement, love for players, mavericks, skills, talent. Newcastle under Howe are the absolute antithesis to anything exciting and I don't understand how a single ****ing fan of this club, or football in general, would be after more of this ****. He's dull, his players are dull, his tactics are dull, dull, dull, dull. Life's too ****ing short for dull and any fan, of any club, should want more. Demand more. Spending £750m to have this ****ing dross trotted out week after week is criminal. How anybody wants Howe to stay is ****ing mind blowing.
To pre-empt - Inzaghi, Motta, Terzic, Simeone, Xavi, Hoeness. Avoid Iraola (plucky countering), Mourinho (dull+), Conte (chequebook), Knutsen (intensity).
