Hopefully we'll see Roefs, Ballard, Mukiele, Reinildo and Le Fee back in the starting line-up. Wonder if Angulo is close, given RLB said he was 4-6 weeks after the Brighton game.

Roefs
Mukiele Ballard Alderete Reinildo
Xhaka Sadiki
Rigg Le Fee Talbi
Brobbey

Subs: Ellborg, Hume, O'Nien, Geertruida, Diarra, Mayenda, Isidor, Jones, Jones

I like that side although I think RLB would want Hume in there in place of Hume ... yes I know, but I can see why.

To be honest I like them both but enjoyed seeing Rigg at SJP.

I really hope we don't look at the team news to find Xhaka isn't in the squad, it's such a pleasure watching the man play.

Would like to see young Finn on the bench but that would be a brilliant starting 11

Some class back from injury but it won’t be an easy decision to drop anyone after the last game. Huge balls to drop anyone after that 2nd half performance but I think he will. He knows better than me so I will trust him as always
Still think we will roll them over

I'd stick with the team that turned the mags over.

Not a single Spurs fan is expecting a victory.

I think you'll win comfortably.

Brighton, Wolves and Leeds are the games we've earmarked as must wins if we are to survive.

You'll be too strong and the atmosphere too intimidating for our weak as piss players.

I think it depends if we’re ‘on the beach’ or not tbh, hope not.

We also have a fair few players who may not want to risk injuries in WC year …

… whatever happens I’m hoping for goals, we played it tight this season but should open up more now.

Its a new experience for me personally in that were playing Spurs and im expecting a comfy win !Is this what its like being a Arse or Liverpool fan?

The truth is though its going to be a tough game for both sides and I hope Spurs start the fight back after an embarrassing drubbing from a professional focused Sunderland team performance. If 30% of our players are playing within themselves due to either "we've reached our target" or im protecting myself for the world cup mind set Spurs will have to be very very bad for us to win.

I can't wait for RTB's match thread so we can all forget about Harry Kane and a bunch of friendlies ...

... on the other hand these days must be absolutely dragging for the Mags.

Before the derby this game could've become bit of a friendly, from our point of view, but a win could now mean Europe is a real possibility. We have more players to choose from and the team will get a great welcome after doing the double over Newcastle. Players like Talbi, Rigg, Brobbey, Hume, etc, are all starting to really shine now and the team spirit looks as good as it ever has.

We're in the position whereby we really have to go for wins now, draws won't really help, so we should see a more open game. Spurs are in the same boat, although theirs has a few holes, so it should be an interesting game. I'm someone who's actually pleased they have a new manager, I think it'll give the game an extra spark and there'll definitely be more attention on it now.

The Spurs fans will be a little cockier now but a Sunderland goal could see their hearts sink, two goals and they could start booing the new man before half-time which would break their own record. De Zerbi likes, in fact insists, his keeper plays out with his feet so that should be interesting with Brobbey bearing down on him. He's a bag of nerves, at the best of times, and this match is absolutely critical.

I don't like Spurs and would love to see their first game, next season, being at home to Lincoln, wonderful thought. We were once driving up to Roker, for the game when an Alfie Conn shot hit both posts and came out. We were behind a Spurs coach near Catterick and holding up sheets of A4 with various messages in marker pen. The skylight opened and a breeze block came hurtling out which smashed in front of us as I swerved onto the hard shoulder. We went to the police station at Catterick and caught up with the coach pulled up at the side of the road ... predictably our last message, as we drove slowly past, was ****ERS <laugh>

It was a long drive, every home game, so we had to make our own entertainment!
Thats Spurs fans for yer .. modifying their coach to add a breeze block store and extra wide opening skylights for missile deployment ;) Did you not have one of those hand crank dashcams fitted as im sure today they could be done for attempted murder?Despicable behaviour from an awful fanbase.

To be fair we would wind up these opposition supporters knowing they'd often be their hooligans.

Ironically we had more trouble than Sunderland supporters at home. We'd have to share the services with the away supporters and also the Mags travelling away. On the way home we'd stop off at Wetherby, or wherever, and run into away supporters, from Roker, and Mags going home. We'd also sometimes run into Leeds who'd been kept in after a Boro game just to make things even crazier!

Spurs were on their way to the famous match where they were came to cause trouble and were battered in the Roker End to the extent they all ran onto the pitch to get away. There's a YouTube clip from MOTD where you can see it happen iirc.
