So from my south stand perspective. Really enjoyed the game, two teams going for it but no really clear chances, Egan apart. Collyer was good, so was Amir. Didn't think the same about crooks or Mcburnie, who's been well under par since coming back from injury. Crosses into the box are an issue, but no one is busting a gut to get into the box, so crosses are delayed. Worst decision for me is when the ref played advantage to us, but as soon as Miller did have the ball in a good position, he pulled it back for the foul. Best result tonight, I think a Southampton win, although I'd take any result, which thankfully is what we'll get!!!! Great season. five massive games left, one win 2 draws, will that be enough? Rollercoaster of a season at the right end. Still don't want to go up, even though obviously I'd love it, Premiership whipping boys or championship contenders? Could we compete in the prem? not without massive changes to personnel. Going up is only way Acun gets his money back. What a cracking season.

McBurnie....spends half the game talking to the ref, at least you're allowed to do that as captain!

I would an all. I mean he was tripped up within a a few minutes. He’s constantly held and fouled all game. I know Mcburnie gives as good as he gets but there was 3 times his hands were held behind his back and the ref just played on.

I mean that was the ref we had against Millwall and he’s fairly useless.

I think it just shows how competitive it is. Having said that, had Norwich had Clement from the beginning of the season, they probably would have beaten Coventry to first.

Let's not go overboard. They've been good but they are still dropping points to Portsmouth and other sides. I think they'd have been around us/Millwall.

It's in our hands now,we just need to look up,not down. There's a couple of teams chasing us,one might collar us(possibly Southampton, they're on form) but I doubt both will if we show the tenacity and defensive strengths we showed last night.I'm of the opinion we'll do alright in the next 5 games and we've got a lottery ticket...

No 'balls' ups and we're in with a big shout here, hold steady tetchy Tigers

Today is Sergej’s 300th day in charge at Hull City, what an incredible job he has done. He inherited a squad as flat as a fart and got them motivated while adding the quality we needed. He has used fringe players so well, latest example being Collyer who was a total revelation last night. And he has kept the opposition guessing with a range of tactics (some of those choices also tripped us up, but them’s the breaks).

I think he is going to take us into the playoffs and that is a remarkable achievement for this club and this squad, given recent history. Superb.

Having just looked at the highlights, McB did better than I thought!!!!!!
I thought he was very good with the hand he was dealt. He hasn't been getting clear scoring opportunities with Giles injured, but his holdup play and starting up attacks was excellent. The one where he brought the ball down, just about kept it in and then played in Belloumi was masterful.

Well said. Hopefully we can finally consolidate and build next year if we don't go up.

On the back of the last few games, once Giles is back and fit surely Drameh continues to starts at right back? May be unfair on Coyle as he's had to fill in on the left but again last night thought Drameh had a really good game and prob edged it in the full back area. Glad he stayed in Jan!
I fear drameh will be benched and if that's the case he will definitely demand to leave in the summer.

Maybe something to do with lard arses using it....
The pitch took a hammering about the same time as Rovers versus Brisbane.
City played QPR a few days later and with the wet conditions and lack of sun it suffered big time.

I watched the game in the pub last night, with no volume, got pretty pissed, so memory is a bit hazy.
I thought it was a good game, we closed them down all over the pitch, just seemed to be poor final ball into the box.
I thought Collyer & Amir did well, with Crooks & McB looking good too!
I think I’ll go to watch the highlights when I get home.

I was very critical of Collyer after I think it was Millwall. He came on with not long left but I thought he looked slow and clumsy. Last night was like a completely different player and my MOM. He looked like the player i thought we were getting.

Koumas seems to do well then pass to where he thinks someone should be rather than getting his head up and looking.

Wasn't Gelhardts best game but I did notice just how strong on the ball he was.

Dont think ive enjoyed a nil nil so much in my life especially one with so little attempts on goal

Every single player played their part as did the fans.

Left feeling gutted we didn't nick a late goal and also ecstatic we didn't concede a late goal
