As well as we played last night we couldn't score a goal and it was difficult to see where one might come from. Our crosses into the box were sub-par, similarly our shots from around and outside the box. Egan's was probably our best chance and that arose from a keeper mistake. Without Giles, with Belloumi not fully fit, Geldhardt not fully firing and Koumas not really delivering we'll struggle in these last 5 games. More pressure on the defenders to keep clean sheets <yikes>

They say never fall in love with a loan player but I am finding it very hard with Amir.

The guy is the best midfielder I have seen play for us in pretty much the last five years. He is that good. Everything goes though him. If you put a runner Slater/Collyer it makes him and them look even better.

Aside from injuries, there can’t be anymore starts for Lundstram or Crooks (as an 8), tonight we bossed the midfield.
He doesn't look like a footballer at all does he? looks like he's an accountant or something, but since the turn of the year when he fully got up to speed it's hard to think of anyone who's performing more consistently than he is.

On the back of the last few games, once Giles is back and fit surely Drameh continues to starts at right back? May be unfair on Coyle as he's had to fill in on the left but again last night thought Drameh had a really good game and prob edged it in the full back area. Glad he stayed in Jan!

Coyle could have given away a penalty with his arms flying around like Skidby Mill - then he completely ****ed up shepherding the ball out and left us wide open - Giles can't come back soon enough - Drameh is a breath of fresh air at right back - the next question is who should be captain if Coyle and Hughes are on the bench - Egan?

McBurnie....spends half the game talking to the ref, at least you're allowed to do that as captain!

One small annoyance from last night, early on Millar got to the by line in really promising position but tried to cross with his right foot and messed it up , I commented to my mate about wingers who play on the other side these days needing to cut in and if he could use his left foot that would have been a great chance , then about 5 mins later breaking again and he played a lovely 30/40 yard cross field ball with his left foot to Gelhardt , why the **** didn’t he do that at the by line <laugh>

I did think that at the time, but when I saw the replay, the moment he had the opportunity to cross with his left there was no one in the box which is, I'd hope, why he delayed and brought it on to his right

Totally agree , I really enjoyed the game last night but how many chances did we actually create ?

Koumas got into some good positions but he can't seem to deliver a decent ball into the box at all
