Has anyone pointed out yet that City won the league cup in '76?
Well that was unexpected, haven’t read back but I thought Wood was brilliant considering how I thought he’d do.
Arsenal weren’t at their best but let’s put that down to how we played.

Just saw Martinelli was booked for pushing the ref. Really should have been sent off.
Quite funny though, how did he think play was going to resume quickly by shoving the ref.
The refs 'what the **** are you doing' expression was a laugh too.

He’s definitely a bit weird. Looses it quite often. Did similar with the Liverpool player a few months ago, who was actually badly injured & tried to shove him off pitch.
What a match, everyone was immense and did what needed to be done!
Scienza is a hell of a player, Stewart is not called Loch Ness Drogba for nothing, Bragg is so tidy, the entire defence and Peretz were so good(with the exception of THBs brain fart) with special mention to Manning who handled his yellow superbly and Bree who for me is one of our best defenders(still irks me that he was sent out on loan!).
Also Super Shea Charles, what a cameo!
Tonda is the real deal, finally a manager who is able to adapt to the team we play rather than stick to the same system for everyone we play! Perfect team set up, perfect game plan, perfect subs, what a guy!

Only important thing - I hope this doesn't become a distraction from the league for the players. Its a good challenge to have, but we need to stay grounded and continue plugging away in the Championship.
True a loss tonight, even though it would have been very understandable could have chipped away at momentum too. So this is somewhat the better problem to have!
And a forward with the initials Ro St (Robert Stokes) scored our winner in the final.
