Really stoked for this one.

Be interested to see if the BBC have done their homework on us. Probably will have Archer as our main threat.

Their coverage is in danger of turning into the Max Dowman show though.

Which is fine by me.
Stewart & Archer scored against them in PL. Wouldn’t mind that pairing sometime during the game (providing they’re close).

Jeez, where did those 50 years go?

This prompted me to look up the 1976 cup final on Wiki. I think a disgruntled Man U fan has edited the match report.

"In one of the biggest shocks in the history of the final, Southampton won 1–0 through an 83rd-minute goal from Bobby Stokes, which was a mile offside."

I know this sounds a bit nerdy but that kit wasn’t the normal home kit for that season was it? Different kit manufacturer too from the one we wore in the final (Umbro instead of Admiral). I thought this seasons home kit was also commemorative of our 76 season?

Really, Saints v Arsenal is just to whet everyone's appetite, for the North v South (Hampshire) clash of The Titans, as Basingstoke take on Sholing, on Easter Monday. Just to keep us all focused, I'm predicting a Saints win this evening, 2-1 in normal time
