Forget the case for a second, realize your statement is implicitly questioning the integrity of King Kenny Dalglish, Liverpool legend. I suggest you leave it at that and avoid disrespecting KK any further. And of course he would stick up for his player, do you blame him? I'm pretty sure Bill Shankly would support Suarez had he managed him, regardless of whether he was innocent or not.
This is the same F.A that appealed against Rooneys three match ban for kicking a player and then give an 8 match suspension for an "alleged" racist remark that was clearly misunderstood. What happened to stick and stones may break my bones? Hope Suarez plays tommorow and the kop goes wild when he scores!
That is the most stupid thing I've heard all day, so you think it's right to support Suarez even if he is racist? What a ****ing goober
How have I disrespected Kenny? And the last sentence is ridiculous. That's how to disrespect someone.
SKY said KK was obviously going to stick up for Suarez, I agreed, and I never meant it as a known fact that Suarez had supposedly said what he did.
Show a multimillion pound company that has morals. Anyway, that doesn't detract from them having an agenda. Surely the FA also have morals? By the by, apologies I added an extra line to the other post, you might have missed it.
If Kenny, and the club, believed he had actually been racist, and that there had been conclusive proof of Evra being racially abused by Suarez, then we wouldn't even be appealing and would be selling Suarez. What's obvious to me, and anyone with a brain, is nothing has been proved in the court in terms of racial intent, and as the club said in the statement, the FA were hellbent on making an example of Suarez and trying to look as if they were doing something to crack down on racism, regardless of Suarez being actually guilty or not. What's Evra claimed, is the question?
Funny how people refer to grammar whhen they are put on the spot.... The word Yid ( /ˈjiːd/; Yiddish: ייִד[clarification needed] is a slang Jewish ethnonym. Its usage may be controversial in modern English language. It is not usually considered offensive when pronounced /ˈjiːd/ (rhyming with deed), the way Yiddish speakers say it, though some may deem the word offensive nonetheless. When pronounced /ˈjɪd/ (rhyming with did), it can generally be perceived as a pejorative—and is used as a derogatory epithet by antisemites.[1] How can you comment on a race arguement when you so trivially use an offensive term in your avatar? If you want to refer to me as stupid, you had better be getting your brain out mate and showing it, Cos id bet my house my intallect far exceeds the fluffy ball of Cabbage watering muppet material that resides in your noggin........It all seemed pretty clear to me, you just didnt like what i was saying... Had enough time to think of a suitable response yet??????? Or would you like to write another delaying comment so you can think of a good escape route
Has it for one second occured to you that the agenda they have is to stop racist little ****s getting away with it in football? For even one second has that occured to you?
This is still & always will be problem: Utd: agenda: stick to their players story: in their business & employees interest. LFC: agenda: see above. FA: agenda: need to be seen as stamping out racism as its their flagship cause. Add the two fingers to FIFA on a number of spats including racism. I'm still not in a position to judge guilt or innocence. My problem is that I have never believed the FA were in a neutral enough position to do so either. Actually believe Terry/Ferdinand has a better chance of justice not because he's English but because it's being investigated by institutions that are truly independent on this issue. To be fair to sky he's maintained a consistent stance throughout. Whether his trust in the FA is misguided we'll have to see.
No... you said Shankly would stick up for Suarez WHETHER HE WAS INNOCENT OR NOT. Which means you think it's ok for Dalglish to do so, ergo condoning racism.
Jatt answer the question please without making sly digs. You say I disrespected Kenny, how? You just blatantly disrespected Shanks, talk about hypocritical.
from what ive read, (bbc, this thread and the lfc statement), both the FA and Evra have distinctly said that Suarez is not a racist, and that there is no concrete evidence to any racial discrimination. There are other statements including Evra admitting to insulting Suarez "in the most objectionable terms" and that he said to the ref "you only booked me cos im black but again there is a lack of evidence. However, if the FA and Evra both do not think he is racist, I do not understand what the ban is for, if for derogatory language (different from being racist) it should be a 3 match ban at most. I also do not think that Suarez racially "abused" Evra, which is what the charge is apparently for. The lfc statement is certainly a bold one and I cannot see the club making a statement as such without sufficient backing, so I would trust that statement quite a lot. That is my opinion, I cannot be bothered to have an argument about this, and in any case, there are enough already
He's denied using it more than once and has presumably also denied that it was racist, otherwise this would have been over weeks ago.
Well it looks like you did. I am a Scotland fan, Kenny is one of my heroes. Doesn't mean he's right 100% of the time .
