    Possibly, maybe Chelsea have more?

Ramires, Cole, Essien, Drogba, Malouda, Kalou, Mikel, Anelka, Lukaku, Sturridge, Bertrand...any others?

You're right it is unacceptable to use those words in this country. However that is not a situation that is replicated around the world. My question would be, are we now going to tackle the actual problem of educating players on the cultural differences between this country and that of their own or others they have played in. Otherwise this situation will be repeated time and again. I don't care if its the clubs or the league, it needs to change. Sanctioning players is reactive rather proactive change.

Like someone else said, I've been debating dropping him from my fantasy league team, this decides it. Ironically it's Adebayor that I've replaced him with.

I'm glad the FA had the courage to make a strong statement and give him a relatively long ban. Liverpool's statement was ridiculous, and just because Evra said he 'wasn't a racist', doesn't mean he didn't make a racist remark. I have to believe the accusation had some credible evidence for them to hand down the ban.

In his defence, he may have taken Tiote's big boot in the balls. Well, that's what I'd have believed if it wasn't a player with 0 integrity rolling in the fetal position with a red card held over him.

By reacting to racism in a strong way, it helps the proactive actions needed to stamp it out. Basically, look at the consequences, so don't do it.

The Fa cant stamp out racism in South America can they. But they can say, what some of you are used to its not acceptable here. Here is the proof with this ban. What else can they do?

Apparently this is an anti-Liverpool conspiracy. A Liverpool supported on facebook just posted:
' yeah his crime is his honesty.. typical munich justice..'

That is low, bringing a 50 year old tragedy into it.

Anyway, regardless of the meaning in Uruguay that word is offensive here and its use should be punished. Well done the FA.

Surely it is better to help the situation with education also though? Personally I think the clubs are responsible but the FA can help by setting out guidelines. Every possible avenue should be exhausted. Its too easy to just sanction a player without him knowing it is wrong. In his country and many other parts of the world, that is not considered racist or offensive by either party. I prefer our own approach but thats because that is what I have been brought up with. We shouldn't be so arrogant to say the way we do everything is the right way. The world is pretty ****ed up when you think about it in terms of everyone getting along. There are so many different approaches to so many issues, with a mixture of success in their application. I'm not saying sanctions are not necessary, I just think we also need to use our intelligence and understanding to alleviate the situation.
