This BBC report on Everton kicking off about games being moved for TV is harrowing, 2 teams, Villa and Forest have only played 1 Sat 3pm game so far this season.....OK they've got European commitments but that's mental....meanwhile Everton and Man U have played 7 and 6 Mon night games each.....If we were fortunate enough to go up, we'd likely have a similar situation to Burnley with more sat 3 KOs than most but still, it really puts me off wanting us to go up, I really love going to games with my kids, but with Sundays being days they play football themselves and midweek games tough from Sheffield with them having school the next day we'd miss loads of games and would start to question the value of a season ticket :-(

Saw that, the main reason claimed was the midweek European games so the teams in the euro competitions sort of had to play sat sun. Didn't really highlight the fact that the TV deal the Premier league signed commits them to having games on Fri and Mon.

Corendon Airlines increase Hull City sponsorship...

Hull City's principal partner Corendon Airlines has reaffirmed its commitment to the club by increasing its sponsorship for the 2025/26 season.

Corendon Airlines will become the front-of-shirt sponsor for the Under-18 and Under-21 academy teams, while enhancing its visual presence at the MKM Stadium and across the club's digital platforms.

Corendon's branding will feature prominently at City's Cottingham training facility, as well as on first-team coats and walkout jackets, with additional pitch-and crowd-facing LED advertising on matchdays.

The airline's logo will appear on all academy and training content shared on City's social media channels, alongside website adverts and exclusive sponsorship of the club's video-on-demand service, Tigers Plus.

Since becoming the Tigers' official travel partner in 2022, Corendon has held prime position on first-team kits and managed travel arrangements for overseas training camps and supporter holidays to Türkiye.

What about the 2026/2027 season? The 2025/2026 one is nearly over.

When Billy Whitehurst and Vinnie Jones were at Sheffield United together, nights out in Sheffield were not especially quiet.

They used to go into a bar called Henry’s on Cambridge Street.

The sort of bar where everyone could see exactly who had just walked in.

And when Billy and Vinnie walked in together, people noticed.

Sheffield Wednesday players basically avoided going out in Sheffield in case they bumped into them.

One night in Henry’s, there were some Wednesday fans in there.

Handy lads.

They kept looking over.

Eventually Billy had had enough of the staring.

“What?”

“What is it?”

The Wednesday lads fancied their chances.

“Come on then.”

Billy did not just get up and charge at them.

“No, no, no. I’ll tell you what.”

“Your best two against our best two.”

Billy and Vinnie took them outside, “plastered them”, then came straight back in and carried on with the night.

“Pint, please.”
